Re: NHL 11 Rosters Arrive Tuesday, November 2nd
At this point, I'm almost starting to wonder if we should be pointing our fingers at the big wig's within EA who make the hiring/funding decisions within each department. I know that EA Vancouver had some lay-offs within the last few months(EA claimed it was normal seasonal lay-offs), so it's possible that EA's NHL development team didn't/still doesn't have the manpower/funding to fix all of the issues post-release with offline and online modes.
GM mode is broken, the rosters still aren't up to par with what EA claimed they would be, EA's servers are still crap, the playoffs in HUT/EASHL are still having a lot of problems, etc etc etc...and while all this is happening, EA is getting a large revenue increase over NHL 10 because of all the micro-transactions in HUT.
I could understand all of these issues taking a long while to fix if this was still NHL 10, but with NHL 11 having a large increase in revenue because of micro-transactions, you would think that EA could better fund the NHL development team so that these issues could be fixed in a more timely fashion.
