The animation was taken out of the game, it was in 2k10 but left out for reason unknown to us in 2k11 maybe it can be patched.

you can,, atleast on my PC... just flick slightly the right analog to move forward

I don't know about consoles, but it can be done on PC by slightly pressing the movement stick

It IS in the game. The only problem is that the computer decides when to do it for you and you walk backwards. =/

Supposedly will be in the patch but My understanding by swap out of animations may make the patch size over what is allowed for Sony and Microsoft, so fingers crossed.
