    Gameplay/Football authenticity... what's being added? Specifically animations & AI... football stuff.
    • Tiered defensive play calling and/or what's being done so that we can put together more defensive schemes
    • Speed rushing and engaged player mobility
    • Naming positions more realistically, specifically Strong/Weak OLB
    • Shading, pressing & bailing CBs & putting SS in the box all individually
    • Defesive assignments... gap & contain(for EVERY defense)
    • Automatic strong/weak side recognition by defense so that weak/stong OLBs & SS line up on the correct side & zones rotate to the correct side
    • Footwork & physics
    Shout out to The Watcher! Where you at bruh?

      I would love to hear more about what's being done to tweak how the d-line plays. It seems when I user control a d-lineman, he just gets pushed in a circle and has no moves to get out of it.

      But when I try to turn the corner with an RB or QB , my tackle just "lets go" of the CPU d-line

        Ian, I would like u and the EA team discuss..

        1) How u plan on implementing presentation and franchise, that can come close to or surpass NBA2K11 or NFL2K5.
        2) Also blocking improvements and ratings that really matter, not just for show.
        3) What about consecutive hit tackles?

        Just some questions for u, curious about the direction your team is going for 2012 and beyond.

          Bezo got the right list I think also I would like to hear about the developmental difference with NCAA 11 and Madden 11 since the consensus is NCAA is better than Madden this year.

            Do you guys have any major topics of discussion for future podcasts? I'd love to hear what people would like us to answer the most.
            Beside some of the excellent topics already suggested I have two areas that I'd like you to address if possible.
            • What is the team doing for realistic player movement? Will there be a locomotion 2.0? Will we see new player models with individual locomotion styles like FIFA (where small guys feel nimble and big guys feel more clumsy regardless of ratings)? And will you finally eliminate the one yard, 90 degree turns at full speed?
            • What is done in terms of getting more realistic behavior on the field? Is a more tailored individual AI system like FIFA's Personality Plus possible?

            Looking forward to hearing more about your view on physical interactions in the next podcast.

                        I'd really like to hear about penalties and why they are so hard to represent in a video game. Aside from holding, Defensive PI and Defensive Holding are the most common calls you see on Sunday. In Madden one never occurs and the other doesn't exist.

                          Good afternoon Mr Cummings. I think the art/design fanatics here would like to know more about why we never get all of the helmets and facemasks (Ion schutt is an example), and many variations of facemasks are always missing. Couple that with the actual design of available facemasks being spot on but the proportion/size is off, specifically in the "Revolution" category.

                            I want to hear about the evolution of gameflow. Will it ever get advanced enough to use a 2 back system and place player and certain spots during the course of the game? Small gripe but i never understood why do you tell us the other teams formation on the playcall screen? I like the direction madden is going i just wish it wasnt so uniform. You should movements more ugly like trying to get a sack or catch a ball or even reaching for the endzone give it that determination twisting the body fighting for the ball added to it.

                              Any plans to overhaul special teams play? Especially return blocking and coverage? Seems like it hasn't been touched in a long time.

                              I'd also like to know what the cpu uses to select a defensive play. Does it know the offensive play I picked and does it use that info to help it call a defensive play?

                                The link's not working for me but I will say, I just traded in my Madden and NCAA 11 games and without certain improvements I won't be coming back to video game football as long as it's controlled by EA. Those improvements start with consecutive hit tackles (which real-time physics should make possible), route/timing based passing and finally, no more skating effect. Watch some NFL games and figure out basic 40 yard times but also count the number of steps it takes to get there. Because of the skating it's impossible to get proper speed and stats in relation to the game clock. Oh, and fix the accelerated clock issues.
