Cancel a pass?
Anybody know the controls (PS3?) for canceling a pass? Is this possible? I know you can fake a shot by winding up and pressing the right trigger, but I haven't found a way to cancel a pass. This is problematic because sometimes I want to make a pass and hold the button for the manual passing but a situation will develop in front and instead will skate around, evade, etc. The problem is that I'm still charging up the pass so when I release it, it's a rocket that my player misses but usually the CPU snags or it just heads down the ice for an icing call.Chris_SCEA_sports is my hero. Re: Cancel a pass?
The game booklet is incorrect on how to cancel a pass. Press L1, and that'll do it for you.Anybody know the controls (PS3?) for canceling a pass? Is this possible? Re: Cancel a pass?
wow- i didnt even know that.
thanks.
is there a way to get rid of your player passing the puck if you press the pass button before he gets control of it???
I just hate switching to control a player to intercept a pass, then if it get control of it, he passes it away into open ice because the pass buttons are r1 and r2.Comment

Takes some practice but you will cut out a lot of those inadvertent passes... not all, but most.Comment
