LOL. Fair? NFL never gave Take Two a chance to counter the EA bid. Just to be "fair".

None of the guys from EA that have come on here are falling on a sword. Unless I missed someone.

You will get the game they were suppose to release this year. you may get signature moves and injuries. if they can right the ship and make a decent game . EA has been carpooling ideas for a couple of years so some of the app prob isn't that hard for them to deal with
So is EAC with the NHL series. And doing it better, IMO. I've yet to play a Madden game on these consoles without wondering about why the physics of the game are so out of whack. Madden is a very fun football game, I just wouldn't call it overly realistic. If Tiburon could achieve the same level of gameplay in Elite, I wouldn't be disappointed. I just don't see how they'll be able to do so for the release of Live/Elite 12, which is why I will never understand why EA would pull this game from EAC at this point in time, when they're more familiar with the RTP in Elite than anyone else. There's got to be more to this story.

This is the last thing Tiburon needs.....they need to focus on making us the best Madden game every year and now they have to mess with this joke?

I'm not worried about the move what so ever. Madden sold pretty damn good, if they can attempt to make Elite just as good, I see Live/Elite being back. I'm just wondering if some of the developers from EAC will come help.... Ryan Santos for instance when it comes to the accessories. They really would need this lol. Pretty sure we would see signature moves and differentiation between players. Just looking forward to what the game looks like next year summer time. I still have faith. What sports games have EA Tiburon made??

Do you guys think we will get an EA NBA game next year? Or will we get one in a few years?

Interesting to read some "knowledgable" people make reference to David Littmann. The guy who almost singlehandedly revived the NHL series to the point where it is today. After all, that's why they handed him the NBA job as well (alongside his NHL work).

that's my point EAC is doing well with this tech and Tiburon isn't using it yet, so obviously they are up to speed on so they can have everything inhouse in one location instead of flying in and out to canada.

Dunno if this has been posted, but the NBA Elite debacle has caused EA to completely re-shuffle their sports division. A lot of people apparently lost their jobs.

Sad to see things like this happen.

I am one of the few that preferred the EA basketball games to any of the 2K ones. I always see how much people prefer 2k, but I never saw it, I didn't like the way it looked and I didn't like the way it played.

not sure what I will do for my NBA fix now.

And now they try to push NBA Jam as a full-price product in order to recoup some of the money lost on this venture. Jam is fun (a friend has it on Wii), but no way it's worth nearly the price of the full-fledged game

Will it be Elite 12 or will they go back to Live 12? I honestly think they should scrap Elite altogether. You can't run with that name when its first image is failure.
