Re: The new kids on the block the dream of 5 recruits

Scouting report 3* Jan Itor

You wont find many athletes in this class rangier and faster than Itor. He Has good height and a lean, yet deceptively strong, high-cut frame with room a lot of physical development. On offense, he is explosive off the line and can quickly get defensive backs on their heels. Shows he can quickly stretch a defense and get behind coverage. A long strider who covers a lot of ground but showcases an extra gear as well and great acceleration. Tracks/adjusts to the deep ball extremely well with great hand-eye coordination. An excellent high-pointer who soundly times his jump and plucks the ball at its highest point with great arm extension. Very difficult to defend on the contested jump-ball matchup and those attributes should allow for early playing time, at least in redzone packages if he lands on offense. Will need to work on sinking his butt and becoming sharper out of his breaks to create consistent separation; relies on go routes for most production. High-cut frame hinders this area at times but he is still elusive and fluid through the hips. Difficult to wrap up after the catch. Slippery and deceptively strong, particularly through his upper-body. Consistently wards off high arm-tackles and keeps his legs/body moving on contact. Lacks some initial burst but has great long-speed to take the distance when he breaks free in the openfield. Carries over same attributes as a returner. Overall, Itor is one of the faster and more versatile athletes in 2011 who has immediate impact type of ability and should be a great steal from this years recruiting class as he was only a 3 star prospect coming out of Chicago.
