Fastest Guy (With The Ball) In The League

I've been hearing A LOT about John Wall being the fastest guy in the league (mostly because I've been hearing A LOT about John Wall.)

I admit that he is fast, but my honest opinion, is that he is in 2nd, behind Ty Lawson. I've never seen anyone keep up with Lawson when he goes end in end (in college or since he's been in the NBA). He's fast as hell without the ball, but what's amazing is that he doesn't have to slow down a bit with the ball and can change directions on a dime

Any thoughts? I know Brandon Jennings, Tony Parker, Raymond Felton, and a few others are also highly regarded for their speed, so I'm interested in seeing what you guys think

No Russell Westbrook? I've heard of it being between he and Derrick Rose, that was before Wall got in the league though, so who knows if that's still the same now.

Amazes me how people continue to ignore Devin Harris. But I guess when you play in a place like New Jersey, it's hard for people to acknowledge you.

Derrick Rose. I've seen several of the point guards live and with him, it is absolutely amazing. His ability to stop at full speed and start again is almost unmatched. CP3 and Deron are there as well and the topic is debatable. Being fast with the ball is one thing but stopping and going full speed is another. I'm going to the Bulls-Wizards game this Saturday and this will be the first time I'll see Wall live. It's hard to judge players on TV so I won't discuss his speed until I see it live.

There was an NBA GM poll on this very topic and Derrick Rose won the poll with like 35 percent of the vote.

My vote goes to Rose with Wall second. I also co sign the OP with the Ty Lawson mention. He is a blur with or without the ball. There are a couple other guys up there as well but Rose and Wall just make it look so damn easy like they have super powers or something.

I dont think end to end CP is the fastest. His game is more centered around quickness and being crafty with the ball then it is about blazing speed. Either way he's better than anybody on that list so you dont need top end speed.
