Question for all PetrPuck users...So apparently for the Xbox 360, PetrPuck has put together a downloadable roster update that can be placed on a USB flash drive and uploaded to the 360 for use in NHL 11. Has anyone else heard about this?? Supposedly this update is going to be released by Tuesday the 9th. I'm very interested in this, but I'm not sure how I'm going to be able to download the file and put it on NHL 11. Anyone who has experience with this sort of thing please elaborate..Tags: None

Re: Question for all PetrPuck users...

On Petrpucks website, he said the release date for this update was pushed back until Tuesday because they had to re-enter all of the AHL players that EA deleted, but stated that some guy said it would be ready on Sunday. Idk it was kind of confusing, but I assume it meant it would be out on Tuesday(the 9th)Comment

Re: Question for all PetrPuck users...

Ya the "guaranteed release date" has been pushed back like 4 times now. Not saying Petrpuck is getting lazy like EA, but I bet they encountered a problem with the USB functionality thing. I still don't see how it would be possible to download a file, convert it to be Xbox compatible, put it on a flash drive, and then apply it to the NHL 11 game. I'm not sure how you would get the file to show up on the game and be used as a roster without hacking the console somehow.

IDK, we'll see what happens, but I'm guessing this won't work out and we'll be stuck with EA's sorry excuse for an update.Comment

Re: Question for all PetrPuck users...

Actually, if you guys have been reading his thread you would know a few things:

 - PetrPuck was in a flood not long ago
 - EA's rosters have caused them to have to determine which minor leaguers to RE-create because so many of them are missing in the latest update
 - goalie equipment is atrocious, so they want to fix it.

...let's cut them a little slack. they're trying, and it has NOTHING to do with the thumb drive stick as they stated they got it to work (360).STEELERS INDIANS CELTICS

Re: Question for all PetrPuck users...

Ya that kinda blows... Sounds like for whatever reason it won't be released or it will be a while if it is. Hate to say it, but in that last comment Petrpuck started to sound like someone who would work for EA Sports. Hopefully I'm wrong and we'll get a downloadable update tomorrow but I'm going to remain skeptical...one of the last comments at the bottom of this page

Except at no point has EA Sports come across that bluntly or rudely. But a wonderful effort.Ya that kinda blows... As for PetrPuck, he can come across however he wants, because he's doing a community a favor, not the other way around.Comment
