i used to love madden when i was younger....not so much now. it might not have anything to do with my age, maybe the game just isn't as good as it used to be.

It needs a "I don't love it anymore, but I'll play it occasionally" category. I guess I'd fall under "don't like Madden"...but I do, just not enough to vote for it.

I'm 21 and this years Madden is good. Its not the best but still a fun in certain aspects. I netice all the crap animations but to me it's the NFL and franchise that draw be in. Back breaker, all pro and NCAA have wayyyyy better gameplay but the NFL draws me in

I love madden ever since 89'. I'm 30 now and kinda disappointed with how the last recent versions have played out..this will be the last one unless they make drastic changes made Presentation,Gameplay,Franchise, etc. Not buying next years version with two or three new polished features to the same game. Just Can't keep dropping $70 bucks (here in Canada) on the same damn game with two new features. EA needs to step up big time!

I'm 30, been playing football video games since 1986 when I got an NES & Temco Bowl for Christmas. Since the move to the 360/PS3 I have not enjoyed Madden that much. I didn't buy 08, 09 was so boring that I never made it past one season, and I didn't even think about buying 11. I do still have Madden 10 and have been playing it a lot. I enjoy it. I'm smart enough now to know don't buy Madden every year becasue EA makes major improvements every 2 years. So I will play Madden 10 until Madden 12 is release. I also wait a few weeks before buying a game now to see what other say about the game.
Relax, it's just a video game!

I'm 25 and Buy madden no matter what. Theres no games out there that get me more siked then football games. Now.. if 2k comes out with a football game in the next couple of years, I'm going with the best all around game and Madden will be a after thought. No matter what football and basketball games will always be #1 on my list of must haves. I'm a sports gamer, I own 1 shooting game BFBC2 the best online shooting game out there IMO. Besides that, Madden all day for the best game every year.

i put i like cos i like more than i dislike but doesnt mean im happy where its at, im 46

ps get me things like formations subs grrr and create/copy playbook

in fact give me head coach 06(pc) high level (dnt have 09 im in uk), with the old franchise money options like advertising etc from prior maddens, the game play of madden 11 (with tweaks) and the logic of nfl2k5 regarding rosters, practice etc. this would give me most of what i want and id be v happy ><

                      Re: madden and age groups

I am 39. I used to be addicted to Madden, and have bought every iteration of it since it's inception, except for M-11' because I am an offline only player, and I didn't see any reason to buy it.

I have been terribly disappointed with Madden on the PS3. The only reason I bought a PS3 (as soon as it came out) was so I could play great "next-gen" Madden games (and have yet to see one).

I am holding on to the promises by the Dev. team that M-12' (PS3) will be better in regards to offline modes. But I have heard these promises before, and each year, my dreams have been crushed. I am still hoping that Madden 12' will at least be as good as it was in M-06' (PS2).
