Here is what I think. As of 11/17:

    MVP - Philip Rivers

    OPOY - Michael Vick

    DPOY - Clay Matthews

    OROY - Dez Bryant

    DROY - Suh

    Comeback Player - ???

Re: Yearly Awards, Who's In The Lead?

Pretty surprised how close Rivers and Orton's numbers are. Even the 20+ and 40+ yard passes are very close.

Good point, although Rivers is slightly ahead in all categories save for INT's

      Rivers: 19 TD/8 INT/2,944 YDS/102.9 Rating/65.3 Comp %/8.9 YPA
      Orton: 16 TD/5 INT/2,806 YDS/96.4 Rating/62.0 Comp %/8.0 YPA

Ya I was just shocked with the numbers, I didn't think it was that close at all. Rivers will pull ahead of everyone shortly. I'm interested in Rivers' 4th quarter stats vs everyone else, seems like he just turns it on in the quarter.

Rivers pulls ahead even further if you consider he's done it in 20 fewer attempts than Orton, that's more than half a game worth, and probably be a full game worth of attempts or more by the end of the season.

Vick will be comeback player, with the potential for more if he continues to play at this level consistently for the rest of the year.

Both Orton and Rivers should have pretty big 2nd half stats because of their team records. They've had to come from behind and/or played in close games they lost.

While he's have a great year, I have a hard time believing that Sam Bradford should not be the OROY.

Bradford will win it since hes a QB.

27th in QB rating is not going to get you ROY...

Which is unfortunate since he has a QB rating of 78.2 which is average at best. In fact, that is well below the league average this year for starting quarterbacks.

This is a list of everyone in the NFL with 40+ catches, 600+ receiving yards and 5+ TD receptions:

                            Antonio Gates
                            Calvin Johnson
                            Brandon Lloyd
                            Hakeem Nicks
                            Terrell Owens
                            Roddy White
                            Mike Williams (TB)

                            That's it.

QB Rating is a joke in the NFL. I don't think anyone uses it seriously.

What is not a joke is a 60% completion percentage, 1200 yards, 12 TDs and only 8 INTS while playing with the worst receiving core in the NFL.
