What I don't understand is you people saying our myplayers shouldn't be scoring points?

Excuse me? A 7 foot person that's faster than kobe with higher shooting skills than kobe shouldn't be putting up more points than kobe? (replace kobe with durant, or any of the others.)

If you don't play myplayer, or you don't try to win at myplayer, then you have no business talking trash to other people who do. That's just ridiculous. Out of the NUMEROUS (50+) friends I have from myplayer on xbox live, every single person thinks that the auto-calling of plays is stupid that has gotten on today (31 so far), I've gotten more messages from people about how they can't believe that having the highest PER, TSP, PPS aren't helping them on having more catches with the auto plays being called.

Sorry if you think that it's unrealistic, but that's kind of the point of a game. Don't tell me to go play another game because I can still accomplish the same stuff, it's just stupid to force work-arounds on people that aren't really needed.

Oh, and I've been top 100 in ranked online games since 2k8, but this game really appeals more to the MYPLAYER mode to me, if sudden changes like this for "realism" sake are to be expected in the future (auto calling plays, even if you're the pointguard) I see no reason to buy any further products, I doubt next years game can change much from this years; just like I felt ripped off buying 2k10 when I already had 2k9.

Please make it stop already!!!!

Great impressions guys. Can't wait to get home...I can now begin my Raps' season officially...

For the people complaining about the auto playcalling in MyPlayer, correct me if i'm wrong but wasn't autoplaycalling already implemented into it? it was simply a matter of the play art not being visible onscreen?

Prepatch the play was called and simply broke early because your player didn't get to the right spot. It was then you could freelance for about 15-18 seconds on the shot clock?

Am I missing something?

My low post's are around 80.

I'm just saying the playcalling should be an on/off option.

Don't force me to set 3 screens every possession and never touch the ball.

The patch just made my player perfect for me. Now i can play realistically and not have everybody running around like chickens with their heads cut off. I now can finally play organized basketball. Sorry cheesers....actually i'm not lol. I just hope 2k doesn't come out with another patch to screw it up because of all these kids complaining.

I'm liking what I'm seeing so far. playing on all-star default and it feels fair now.. FINALLY.. it doesn't feel like you have to score every single time down the court to have a chance to beat the CPU... refreshing

still think the hot/cold streaks are a bit ridiculous... but that's just 2k.

loving the new Cavs court.

Does the CPU still go on an amazing 3rd quarter run?

you talk about realism in MYPLAYER... thats y its called "MYPLAYER"... its not called "SIT THERE AND CALL FOR THE BALL 5 TIMES AND WATCH THE COMPUTER FIRE OFF 1000 BAD SHOTS A GAME"... everything else is great dont get me wrong but 2K went wrong with the play calling tweak in MYPLAYER

It is an improvement although didn't fix association completely. I'm not going to complain on things that have never been that good (i.e. AI rotation management) so my only big complaint is:

In season trades still dropped down to 0 for me once I got to 2016. 2014 and 2015, the trades already dropped significantly (5-6; This is including the draft day and off season trades). However free agent activity is good. However, I think that is the problem. You still have bunch of rated 70 players (much improved since pre patch, you would get level 80s there) in the free agent pool after the off season. The AI doesn't need to trade because it can just sign needs with their MLE.

Is there any way to go back to the old patch? This update has completely ruined My Player. Running plays isn't fun. I don't mind not getting the ball every time down court, but I like to run around and set screens for people and have them actually utilized. Being a SG sucks now. By the time you're done running a play, somebody else has the ball. I used to average 20ppg, the last two games I had 6 points each and hardly ever touch the ball. This patch blows.

1. A) Lebron is 6'8", only 4 inches away from the height of my guy. Is Lebron crazy too?
B) Not all of his skills, his offensive shooting skills. His passing, dribbling, catching, and such are much lower than Kobe's.

2. I never said my POINTGUARD avg'd 50 ppg, please fail at trolling more often. You obviously don't play MYPLAYER, or you play this game like it's real life. Either way you need to find a hobby that doesn't involve trolling people on a basketball video game forum.

If 2k decides to release another patch, maybe they could give users the option of having auto plays on or off for my player. Other than that I dunno what else can really be done. I guess it's simply a matter of accepting the patch or not downloading it.
