i doubt it could be very good, something like that would take months if not years to complete properly. is he doing ratings for each season a player plays or will it be based off of a players entire career averages? either way im not sure it will be much help to anybody, not trying to discredit his effort, just saying...

agree it would be questionable. just interesting to see somebody taking this on..

funny , i thought about your historic rosters when i saw this . what i would like to see is it get started and then have guys like you and nog come in and critique so that we could eventually have a working spreadsheet as a refernce.

This is not impossible as I have a database of several ratings for every player who ever played the game for every season all time. It took me five years to get this database to where I want it to be but this kind of thing does exist.
