My breakdown on each entrant in the tournament:

1- Alberto Del Rio: Winning the KotR would be huge for Del Rio although I don't think he truly needs it right now as he has done a hell of a job getting over. His ongoing feud with Mysterio has been great for him so no matter what happens to him in this tournament he will be fine. I wouldn't mind seeing him win it, but there are other guys who need it more, at least right now.

2- Cody Rhodes: I really don't think he's ready for something like this, especially with the gimmick he has going right now. Usually guys who win KotR change their gimmick a bit to reflect winning and he just changed his gimmick a couple of months ago. Don't get me wrong, the kid can wrestle and is a solid worker but out of all the entrants he is the least qualified to win, at least in my own opinion.

3- Daniel Bryan: In terms of sheer wrestling ability he would be the favorite, no doubt. However, that is not what this tournament is about and I personally don't think he needs this right now much the same as Del Rio but for different reasons. He is still the United States Champion and keeps on winning match after match. I love him, but he really doesn't need this.

4- Drew McIntyre: He was dubbed "The Chosen One" and a future world champion by Vince McMahon himself, yet since losing the Intercontinental Championship he has been stuck in a rut and can't seem to get out of the midcard. Winning this tournament might help him gain some momentum back, but I just can't see that happening with the way he's been booked lately although he does need this more than most.

5- Ezekiel Jackson: I think he would benefit more right now than any of the other competitors by winning this tournament. He was all set for a big push after winning the ECW Championship earlier this year but suffered an injury that put that on hold. Since he has been back he has been turned face and has been destroying everyone in his path. I want him to win more than anyone else, but if he doesn't win then I at least hope whomever knocks him out of the tournament doesn't beat him clean.

6- John Morrison: He is an interesting choice. Just like McIntyre, he has been stuck in the midcard (granted, with a match here and there against upper card competition) since losing the Intercontinental Championship. He has all the ability in the world in the ring, but I don't think they put him over all 7 of the other guys in this thing, at least not at this time. It definitely wouldn't surprise me if he won, but I doubt it will happen.

7- Kofi Kingston: You can pretty much copy and paste my thoughts on Morrison and put them here as well. He also has a stale and completely boring gimmick which actually could benefit from becoming KotR right now. However, just like with Morrison, I just can't see it happening right now.

8- Sheamus: If there was anybody in this tournament that absolutely does not need to win, it's Sheamus. He is the only guy in this thing to already have been a world champion and he has improved in every aspect since entering the WWE last year. He would be the "safe" choice for the WWE to let win this thing, but he would also be the wrong one. I love this guy, but he absolutely does not need this.

    -

Rankings of who I want to see win:

    1- Ezekiel Jackson
    2- Alberto Del Rio
    3- Drew McIntyre
    4- Daniel Bryan
    5- Sheamus
    6- John Morrison
    7- Kofi Kingston
    8- Cody Rhodes

Who knows what kind of prestige winning the KotR has anymore though, I mean it's not a PPV so will this be a launching pad still?

I don't see why not. The last two KotR tournaments weren't PPV events either and their winners (William Regal in 2008 and Booker T in 2006) got huge pushes after winning.

Is it me or has the crowd been flat when Zeke has wrestled the last 2 weeks? They need to do something to get the crowd behind the guy, imo.

I'm rooting for "Dashing" Cody Rhodes to win. He could come up with some tips about how to stylishly wear the crown and cape

you know one thing I am wondering is last night when edge came out to talk to Kane, there was some "pop" but when they showed the crowd, it looked like noone was doing anything but looking at edge. Does wwe pump in sound? Idk, it just seemed like there was alot of people cheering him but it didnt look like it sounded if that makes sense...

Smackdown is taped so they can edit things. Raw is live so if there's no reaction they can't do anything.

Still don't know if the KOTR winner gets a title shot. If they do then it'd be Morrison or Drew.

              If not...

Morrison and Drew still have a good chance.

Bryan has the US title and is already doing well so doesn't need this. I can see him losing to Cody with an assist to Ted or even Maryse.

Don't see Cody winning the whole thing.

Mysterio will cost Del Rio his match. Not sure which match but one of them.

I expect regardless if he wins the whole thing or not Morrison will get another win over Sheamus which means Sheamus isn't winning. Perhaps the lights go out and when they come back on there's a lone sledgehammer sitting on the ramp or in the ring and Sheamus will be distracted. That seems like too much interference.

People don't seem to be behind Zeke yet. Maybe this will help or maybe that's why he won't win.

Kofi would have a good chance. They already missed out on it when he had that thing with Orton though so I dunno.

I had Zeke winning this a month ago, but I could totally see Sheamus winning only for the Kings of Kings to crash the coronation ceremony. I'd also like to see Bryan in the finals because three of his matches means a great night of wrestling.

Regardless of whether he wins or not, they just cannot let somebody beat him clean in this thing with the way he has been booked since he returned. The guy hasn't lost a singles match since January!

Completely agree with all of that. I still say Zeke wins a major title within the next year and this could really help get him over with the fans. I also wouldn't be surprised to see Sheamus knocked out due to Triple H returning or him crashing his coronation ceremony if he won to rekindle that feud.

I wonder if William Regal will be on hand for the event, seeing as he is the reigning KotR and all. Plus, he has very close ties with Daniel Bryan so it would be nice to see him on TV on Monday.

Any chance "Juan" Cena takes out someone like Rhodes and competes in his place?

My heart is with Rhodes, as I think he could do the most with it.

                        My money is on Zeke.

Does the winner get the Money in the Bank treatment where they get a title shot, or is it pre determined like they will Main event the next PPV or something like that?

But he also doesn't have any storylines going so who's going to cost him a match? Guess there could be a ref bump with chairshot.

IF the winner even gets a title shot...which we still don't seem to know...it'd be pre-determined. Probably at the Rumble. Figure TLC will be Miz/Orton/Barrett.
