Why did they change the shoot timing? I mean common i went through 82 games with one shot now im here trying to learn a new one. Annoying as hell. Went from always perfect to this crappy super fast release. ugh.

I don't like how that when you attempt lay-ups you don't get the nice looking lay-up animations they used to have. Now you get that branched shot/adjusted shot crap and thats what I hate. I don't mind them toning down dunks....that I understand but basically its hard to trigger lay-up animations now because if there is anyone near the paint it gets changed to a stupid adjusted shot animation. I loved seeing derrick rose and monta ellis' athletic scoop lay-ups....now all we get is branch shots that look nothing like them. Definitely ruins the experience for me.

The patch was released during a holiday why don't you relax and wait for someone from 2k to speak on the issue, for the most part the patch made the game better, most of the complaints about shooting is silly and only requires that you hit the practice gym for a few minutes to figure it out, the online and myplayer freezes are the only real issues for some not myself but there seems to be a general issue, hopefully most of those that are having freezing issues are a result of corrupt files and only require them to delete their files and restart and not another patch.

so far i have played twice against my friend in a custom game (10 min quarters) the game has been smooth and no errors or disconnects...

as for the jumpers...he adjusted rather quickly since he's able to hit them with ease...i played as the Knicks and i still cant hit squat with Gallinari (pre-patch and post patch)!!!!

I bet they put the new Wolves black alternates in this patch. I hope the code gets discovered soon.

I have to disagree with you on this one man. This patch was very necessary. The game, while top notch when first released, was far from a masterpiece. There were numerous problems that need addressing; some of which ruined the experience for many players (And I'm not talking about the difficulty level). Just calm down man, the 2k developers know what they're doing. How can you say they made a masterpiece then insinuate that they don't know what they're doing all in the same breath? If you have that much dedication to 2k, at least trust them to make the right decisions with their game.

The release point was fine out of the box, they should left that but made the other changes. They broke the game with the new release points, we should not have to learn how to shoot again after most people have played over 50 games either online or in season mode by now.

I'm currently deployed right now and can't get online for my PS3...How can i get the patch? Is there a download link that i could download to usb and install the patch? Please help. This freezing thing and coaches firing is really pissing me off. Thanks

FIX THE COMMENTARY STOPPING DUIRING THE GAME! CAUSING IT TO HANG UP AND EVENTUALLY FREEZE! I CAN'T EVEN FINISH A GAME RIGHT NOW!!

When it does this, I have attempted the last 2 games to save and quit, and both time I do that the entire ps3 locks up! It DID NOT DO THIS PRE-PATCH 2K WTH!!!

I love the gameplay and the fixes, but not being able to play cuz of this pisses me off more than anything. It doesn't start happening until the 3rd qtr either so I'm almost finished with the game. That's what really pisses me off, cuz I dont want to start that game over. PLZ FIX THIS BS 2K THAT YOUR PATCH SOMEHOW CREATED!

Just deleted EVERYTHING on my ps3 2k11 related...re-downloaded patch, set my settings up for a game etc..

Started a game of Bos @ LAL, and at around 9min left in the 1st qtr the Commentary went completely out again(only hearing crowd noise)

I wait for a dead ball, try to save and quit(done this before and came back and commemtary worked fine) and ps3 locks up!

I'm so pissed where I'm gonna put this game away on the shelf until there's a patch to fix this garbage. I want to play so bad, but the more times this happens in my association the less likely I'm going to want this game anymore. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASEEEEE FIX THIS 2K!!

And I dont know why no one else is experiencing this! I'm on ps3....the fewq that have said deleting the game data cured it(obviously it didn't) for them. I can't be the ONLY one having this problem! Next game I'll turn commentary off to start the game and see if I can finish it.

If ur wondering why I try to save and quit..it's cuz when the commentary does that, when uit gets to halftime or end of qtrs the game hangs up. It's trying to commentate(word?) and run videos of the halftime report and NBA Today stuff all at the same time. The game hangs up where all I get is a zoomed in view of some player headed to the locker room or on his way back out and it just stays there until I sim to end of game or quit(and from there it locks up again)

Into the 32nd game of my Association I made the error of saving the game to continue play at a later time. I took care not to save in a timeout situation.

When I came back, every time the game in progress would freeze in a timeout.

Happily I downloaded the patch, as it was supposed to solve the issue.

I did. Kind of.

Now the timeouts are fine, but during the fourth quarter the game froze during one of Deron Williams' free throws. Now I still have an Association that is really hard to play for me. Urrrggg.

So a next patch most definitely is in order (I can live with all the game-related stuff of commentary going away - which I never noticed, but freezes are really frustrating).

So u are experiencing the commentary going out too? Does thr game hang up on u after a qtr ends? IMO the loss of commentary is what's causing the hang ups and then freezes. I've had long hang ups b4, but after the patch its worse and only occurs when commentary goes out.
