Will pro/sim/real player fg% give me realistic stats?
So I am into an 82 game association with the celtics on pro/sim. I initially tried to play with shot stick % on but inconsistent jumpsuits made me lose even to the worst teams. So I decided to switch to real player fg%, will this option give me unrealistic scores, will I need to download custom sliders for it to work properly?Tags: None -

I am unable to answer your question but would just like to note that "inconsistent jumpsuits" made me laugh -

The preset sliders seem to be based on using Shot Stick timing. So if you switch to Real FG% and use the simulation sliders as a base you should bump up the inside, close, mid sliders a couple ticks so they're around 48 and the 3 pointers slider to around 53. When I say around I mean give or take a point depending on your results.Comment

Re: Will pro/sim/real player fg% give me realistic stats?
I'm using pro/default/real player fg% and have been getting great games. I'm playing with Golden State and avg around 97ppg. With shot stick Curry was shooting 16% from 3 and now is about 32%. I had guys blowing layups and open shots in the lane but now those go in. I saw my ppg go up 20+. I could not score using shot stick. I have not played NBA 2k since 2k8 but I know I'm not that bad. I have played 2k8 (NBA & College) for the past 3 years so I felt like I could play this game with no problems. Wrong, after spending a lot of time working on everyones shot, I gave up and changed. I almost put the game away until I made the change.Relax, it's just a video game!Comment
