CAPS "THE HERBIES" FOR COACH DODGE

I really like the idea of having a seprate thread for people who would like to make recruits. If you follow my thread you know that I post game by game stats as well as Recaps during my Bye weeks on season stats, in a Post called the "Herbies"

I currently have 19 players (14 Sophs and 5 Freshman) I am looking for 5 more people for next season. I am in Week 7 right now. Then take 5 more the following year, once the 14 Sophs graduate I will open it back up to more people

    Name
    Height/Weight
    Posistion
    Hometown/State

Also you can write a small bio about your player that is cool too.

I will make all players rated between 80-85 Overall so they will hopefully play right away and start on some teams depending on where they go.

However if you want to have a certain strength let me know example Power Back vs Speed Back or Pocket Passer vs Scrambler, or Speed WR vs Possession WR.

    Name: Nick Anderson
    Height/Weight: 6'1", 221 lbs.
    Position: QB
    Hometown/State: Maple Grove, MN

    Bio:
Coming from a suburb of Minneapolis, Nick grew up in a family that was in the "middle class." He is a humble kind of guy that never thinks too much of himself, but led the Maple Grove Crimson High School to 3 State Titles and was near flawless in his 4 years in High School only throwing 1 interception the whole time.

        Name: DeMarcus Hall
        Height/Weight: 6-1 195
        Position: CB
        Hometown/State: Kansas City, MO
        Skill: Speedy Coverage CB
        Number: 1 please
        Skin: Black

Bio: He comes from a small town. It's a town so small it's not even put on the game. DeMarcus started at WR and CB on Varsity all four years of HS. He was a two-time all-stater and was a state champion his Senior year. On the field, he loves talking trash and can really put the hit on, but off the field, he's one of the nicest guys around.

Re: CAPS "THE HERBIES" FOR COACH DODGE

                Name: Justin Blanton
                Height: 6'5"
                Weight: 215
                Skin Color: White
                Hometown, State: Fort Smith, AR
Position Style: Possession WR....great hands, great CIT, solid route runner, not great speed or agility

Bio: Football wasn't his first sport in high school. In fact, Blanton was a standout on the hardwood during basketball season, where he lead Southside High School to a state championship as a senior. Blanton decided to give football a go during the summer before his senior year. Southside High School has a rich tradition in football an he decided to try his hand at the school's number one sport. Well, it turned out to be a great decision. At 6'5" and 215 pounds, Blanton used his athleticism and size to dominate at the wideout position. Blanton added a whole new dimension to the Southside football team as they got all the way to the state championship before losing to state power and conference rival Bentonville High School. Blanton's season, tough, of 72 catches for 1,844 yards, and 18 touchdowns opened the eyes of many scouts across the nation. Already being heavily sought after on the basketball court, Blanton decided football was his true calling.

Re: CAPS "THE HERBIES" FOR COACH DODGE

Sure, I'll make one for you.

                  Name: Wyatt Corbin
                  Height: 6'5"
                  Weight: 248
                  Position: OLB/DE and if needed a FB/TE
Style: Unrelenting motor and drive, high awareness

Bio: Wyatt is an atypical recruit, being that he's older. He's one who never gives up on a play and never wants to take a play off. I suppose that would come from his background. Growing up he was a military brat. With changing schools every couple of years, football was his way to make friends and cope with the constant change. So naturally, when there were few offers (mostly from schools he didn't really want to attend), he enlisted in the military and spent the past three plus years in Spokane as a SERE instructor and serving as a player on the Air Force football team (not the team who plays D-I football but the team who plays semi-pro and amateur teams). Now that his hitch is almost up, he's looking to go to school to finish his degree and play football - hopefully in the same area he's currently located. As far as his skill set goes, he's not spectacular in certain areas and weak in others, he's balanced across the board. He's also willing to move to wherever the team needs, be it linebacker, d-end, fullback, or tight end.

Deuce, it's up to you how you want to create him. He can either just do the high school thing or first year JUCO and pretend his stats are from the AF team. I haven't played with the CAP much so I'll leave it up to you how it would be done.

                    Name: Damien Clark
                    Height/Weight: 5'11''/195
                    Posistion: MLB
                    Hometown/State: Pittsburgh, PA
                    Skin: White

                    Bio:
Clark played for his High School all four years of school and they were a dismal 12-36. During his first 3 years, they were 2-34, but turned it around in his senior year. He helped the defense not allow more than 21 points a game. They finished at 10-2 that year and were runners up at the W.P.I.A.L. Championship Game, which was held at Heinz Field.

It was during his Junior year that he stuck with MLB. He played both MLB and TE/FB at times during his first 2 years. In his Junior year, he asked the coach if he could just focus on the defense, since they didn't really use the TE or FB option that often.

                      Name: Spencer Miller

                      Position: FS
                      Hometown/State: Missoula, MT
                      Skin: White
Notes: Ball Hawk safety just like Ed Reed kinda guy. Play recognition, fast, coverage, and good good hands

Coming from a town in Montana there is nothing else to do but play and train for football. Not even starting Varsity until his senior year he started at safety and had an absolute break out year! Getting at least one interception in every game and took several of them to the house. The coach was amazed by the talent that just seemed to appear over the course of one year. Unfortunately, it wasn't quite enough and he couldn't carry the team alone. The offense struggled and they did not go far in the play-offs.

Okay so with Coach Dodge on hold because I need to buy a transfer kit, I am going to move the Cap players from this thread to my BSU/EWU thread. You guys will be in for the 2011 season.
