Thanks Alot Spike:A New York Knicks Dynasty

From Red Holzman and his 613 wins to Patrick Ewing all of the Knicks teams have had one thing in common, the big apple. If you do good, your a hero. You do bad, pack your bags because your gone. The Knicks made a big signing of Amar'e Stoudamire to lead the team and turn them around.

Shortly after his signing the Knicks made a move to clear up cap space for another max contract by trading power forward David Lee to the Golden State Warriors for Anthony Randolph, Kelenna Azubuikie, and Ronny Turiaf.

The Knicks picked up Point Guard Raymond Felton on a 2 year deal to add some skill and depth to the point position.
In need of a good shooter they also picked up Roger Mason, the Knicks look forward to a good season and many to come.

Donnie Walsh stepping down as the Knicks President and General Manager

Today Donnie Walsh stepped down as the Knicks president of basketball operations and as the general manager. Health concerns forced him into this, as he recently had hip surgery he decided that it would be best for the team.

"I can't do it anymore, my body is aching and I just don't have the will that I use to." Walsh said as he was stepping down.

"He was one of the big reason's I came to New York, I hope he is healthy for a long time, best of luck to him." Thats what star free agent Amar'e said after he had found out about Walsh's resignation.

Filling in for him will be unheard of sports writer Harlee James. It has been known that he received his job for his recruitment of Amar'e to New York.

Harlee James first public words since becoming hired, "This was a shocker, this is one of the happiest days of my life.I was just a mock draft analyst a few hours ago and now I control the Knicks."

People are already harassing James Dolan's decision to hire James who has no experience at all. Dolan replied by saying that he has 5 years, to make the Knick's NBA Champions.

That was the comment Harlee James had on potential roster movements. What does this mean for the Knicks future?

2010-11 NEW YORK KNICKS PREVIEW WITH HARLEE JAMES

Last Season-29-53: We will be able to improve that, and we need to if were going to make the playoffs.
Raymond Felton-Starter-PG-78 OVR: He will be a great floor general out on the court and he has some great perimeter defense and he can shoot so he will be a key part of
            our offense.

Landry Fields-Starter-SG-72 OVR: Fields is a beast of a rookie, and in my opinion he could beat out Wall and Griffin for the ROY the year award so watch out.

Wilson Chandler-Starter-SF-79 OVR: Chandler is an animal, he can shoot the lights out and he is a good defender. He has an extremely high basketball IQ though and he is an amazing athlete. He will be a main scoring option for this team.

Anthony Randolph-Starter-PF-70 OVR: Randolph is a beast on the boards and has excellent potential. He knows the game well which is a huge advantage.

Amar'e Stoudamire-Starter-C-86 OVR: Amar'e will lead this team. He can eventually turn into the king of New York if he lives up to his potential.

            Notable Bench Players:Toney Douglas PG 71 OVR:Role Player.Bill Walker SG 65 OVR:Role Player. Roger Mason SG 68 OVR Role Player.Kelenna Azubuikie SG 71 OVR:Sixth Man.Danilo Gallinari SF 72 OVR:Role Player.

Harlee James thoughts on team: We will be in the run for a playoff spot, we can make some moves at the start of the season and see what works for us and if it doesn't then we will go back to the drawing board and start all over.

              Gallanari sent to the Kings!

Danilo Gallinari was unhappy after he was given his role of only a role player. Harlee James found out and sent him and a 2012 draft pick for Jason Thompson and this years Kings first round draft pick.

"If you don't like it here you won't play here." Those were the comments Harlee James made shortly after the deal was made.

This will make 3 good Power Forwards for the Knicks because Amar'e's natural position is PF. So what will this mean for any other player on this roster?

                Randolph sent to Jazz.

Shortly after Danilo was dealed to the Kings, Harlee James thought about the idea of those 3 good PF's sharing playing time and it just didn't make sense. So he sent Randolph to Utah for Gordon Hayward and Utah's first round draft pick. It seems like Harlee James is just piling those picks up. With the season about to start what will we see from this unpredictable mastermind James has turned into?

                      Knicks Win Big In Toronto!
                      alg_resize_knicks_amare-stoudemire.jpg
Amar'e's 41 point 12 rebound performance was a big part of their win.

The Knicks went behind early not being able to make a shot. With A.Bargnani getting hot early they were behind by 11 at the end of the first quarter. But due to a tough Knicks defense for the rest of the game they blewout the Raptor's 122-97.
