    PS3 audio sync issues

Hey gang, it's been awhile since I've posted but I seem to have come across a weird problem.

I recently purchased a PS3 and a new 1080p Vizio. I wasn't too crazy about the quality of the Vizio and returned it but still have my PS3. I hooked my PS3 up to my old tv (a 32 inch 720p Samsung, about 2 years old) and now I'm having some pretty bad audio lag problems.

I've tried googling around for an answer as to why this would be happening but most of the threads that I come across seem to be a couple years old.

I've tried looking on my menu settings for anything that would be causing this issue and I can't seem to find any. Before when I had my 360 I never once had a problem with the audio lagging behind the video.

I've gone in and changed the settings on my PS3 from 1080p to 720p and the audio format to automatic. It helped the problem some, but I still seem to be a good .5 second behind the video.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

How are you connected HDMI? Composite? RCA? HDMI to DVI video/RCA to 3.5m?

My bad. HDMI from PS3 to TV. No amp or anything.
