Listen, since you like HC, you'll love "Front Office Football". It's more indepth and you get to play online against 31 human owners in a NFL league.

The league has live draft, FA, trading, etc. Plus you get to set up your gameplanning against your opponents.

If you are interested in joining our league, I'll send you the link. You have to buy the game online which you will download to your cpu. They also send you the CD for the game as well. The game is like $24.00

This game has a true NFL experience.

1. Rookie players taking 3 years to develop, espeially QB's.

2. 1st round pick going bust. 7th round Gems.

3. Every penalty called like on Sunday.

4. Ratings is everything is this game.

5. Players with bad cohesion affects the team. ala T.O.

6. Very detail gameplanning.

7. Build new stadiums or change cities

8. Hire your coaches and scouts. Scouts are important for the draft.

9. What you see in NFL football you get here.

10. The best part is that you go head to head with real human GM's

There so much to this game. This game is for all the hardcore football fans

This is from the commish of the league:


The NRL (No Rules League) was founded on the principle of playing the game by the rules written in the game. To ensure a fair allocation of players the game will be created with real rosters in the year (1960) and simmed forward to the year 2025. NRL will start with a historic roster set and sim forward to the year 2025, entering EACH NFL draft classes up until 2010. As we go forward to 2025 we will use the in-game drafts starting in 2011. The league will begin play in the year 2026. The majority of actual NFL players will have retired by that point, leaving us with a mostly fictional universe, but a rich history and records book.

No Rules League

Sim Schedule - All sims at NOON ET
Sun: Midweek
Mon: Gameday
Tues: Midweek
Wed: Gameday
Thur: Midweek
Fri: Gameday

Open Teams (All teams have at LEAST their basic 7 picks each year - some a few extra and none are in Cap Hell

Cleveland Browns:
Cleveland has a good 2nd year QB, 3 good young RB's and good young staters across the defense. One good draft class and decent free agency and they are in the thick of it.

New York Giants:
Defense has some nice parts in the front 7 but their secondary does need some work. Some nice parts on offense but a little older. Would make a nice rebuild candidate as they should be picking in the first half of the draft

New York Jets:
Jets are set on the offensive skill positions with solid vets who have alot of run left in them. Front seven on defense looks solid as well. THey are currently leading the division with a 5-2 record. Instant playoff team with extra picks to help bolster the vets in the offseason

The NRL is at the halfway point so come on in and get a feel for the league before the offseason starts in the New Year.

Kurt, only the game cost $24.00. The league is free.

It's like having a HC only league, but you have to buy the game to play.

The game is a text base sim game. You can download a free demo of the game and check it out.

This game was awesome at the time it was released (around 2007). I got this game and played it for endless hours. It was the best football game on the market then. I could really recommend it for anyone who already owns this game to take part in an online league.
On the downside, as the game is quite outdated concerning roster updates and gameplanning (e.g. 3-4 defense) I would rather hope/wait for another update of the game to buy it. If there's a new version it will probably set new standards in terms of realism...

Didn't mean to sound too negative though. It's a really great game (probably the best PC text sim available). But it could use another update...

The developer has updated the game a few months back with a game revision and updated NFL rosters. it's the 6.4 version.

You should try it out again.

I'm glad you've been playing FOF since it first came out. It's a blast when you play in an online league.

Have you got the newer version of the game 6.4 version. It has all the lastest players: A. Foster (Texans), Dez Bryant (Cowboys), S. Bradford (Rams), etc.

I'm in 4 leagues, and in one of the leagues we're having our live draft. One of the best features of the game.
