Yeah I have the asoc and roster files, just don't know which route to go. I kind of want a fresh start to the assoc, but I appreciate all the work these guys put into this file...decisions, decisions.

      Re: THE DYNASTY ASSOCIATION EXPERIENCE

I love how the game plays with these rosters. But can somebody please post his stats from a game against Orlando. I played 2 games in my Association againt them, and they shot a very high number of 3s. 13/31 in the first and 14/28 in the second game (10 min quarter). I think the number of 3s of all the other teams are more or less spot on (around 5-8/20), but Orlando shoots way too many 3s in my opinion. How could I lower this, without touching the other teams (so no slider adjustment)?

Im having a problem doing the Terrence Williams trade in my Association.
It says Rockets have to much incoming salary. Which is weird b/c it worked in real life cap wise.

I did the Jermaine Taylor trade to Kings 1st too and still no luck.

          What do I gotta do?

          MLB- Cardinals
          NFL- Vikings

if you didn't not start your association then this could be a "hiccup" but in my case where I am like 5 games in, with injuries that were not already put on by the roster makers, but happened in game, it is too "late' into the mode for I to try to reflect real life moves.

So if you are at Day 1 *or did not play any games yet* then yes it would be a good idea to do the trades, but if you are few games in, then forget it

EDIT: Quick question to the file makers, I am playing as Celtics and Glen Davis got hurt in a game and is out for 1-2 Weeks, and I let CPU Fix the rotation, since it is the team that I am using, is there a problem to that? (even though I can go back and re-do the rotations any time I want)

but for CPU teams, just let them do their own thing right, all we do is raise the ratings for the players at the right time frame correct?

            Thank you

Im like at beginning of December. But what does any of that have to do with the cap issue?

I feel like this has been asked a few times now...

Has anyone had any luck making the Terrence Williams, Joe Smith and Vujacic deals?

It seems like there is some sort of salary issue that makes these trades illegal. Does anyone know the work around this issue?

For the Lakers, Nets, Rockets deal i just signed Larry Hughes to the Rockets and used him as a replacement for Sergei Lishouk since he isn't in the game. Trade worked for me. After the trade i just waived Larry Hughes.

hmmm. I'll have to try this. Although I'm not sure how it would work. Assuming that you are using the same contract edits that came with this file, how would signing another guy to the Rockets help this go through? I get a message saying something along the lines of "illegal trade...rockets still are 4.4 mill over the cap"...or something like that. Do you have to do the 3 way trade all at once? Or do the deals one at a time.

                      thanks all

Yeah, im using the roster file but i assume the contracts would be the same. In the trade you have to send Larry Hughes from the Rockets to the Lakers. So basically, you do the 3-team trade with the draft picks and all that but sign Larry Hughes to the Rockets and add him to the trade. When you do that it should work. After the trade you can just waive Larry Hughes from the Lakers.

I have a question about the roster file that is being used for this (if I recall, it's the Dynasty v2). Which posters combined efforts on this roster?

I know you asked this days ago but I just came back on here for the first time in a week. Here is listing of all owed draft picks for every team, for the next couple of years. It also includes the conditions that must be met for the teams to receive the picks, which is something the Association file doesn't take into account. I am going to have to do some tweaking on my file.
