Has anyone done it yet? I have been 1 on 1 on a fast break and it just went into a hop step animation with jamal crawford. Anyone know how they did it?

Layup package. Defender in front of you an u push left or right on the right stick if on 2k camera.

then it would be the players right or the players left, which means up and down if your going straight.

wouldnt pressing the L2 automatically go into a eurostep motion?

i usually use the shot button so im not familiar with the shotstick layup/dunk method...

-L2 while pressing the right analog stick toward the basket (no turbo) would result in a Euro-step.

-Holding L2 while pressing the right analog stick to the left or right of the basket would result in a hopstep layup (of where I'd assume the Crawford move may lie).

-Holding L2 while pressing the right analog stick away from the basket results in a spin layup.

All you have to do is drive the lane and lets say your defender is on your left while driven move the shot stick to the left and he will perform it.Same thing goes if your on the left wing driven to the basket with the defender on your right move the shot stick to the right.It is not guarenteed every time but this is the way i pull it off more times then none.NO LT as this will give you a hop step.And this is performed on 2k cam.On broadcast it up/down on the shot stick dependin on what side the defender is playin you move it up or down to that side.

It is not random, you have to do the hop step move left or right while going straight toward the rim from any angle. The ball has to be dribbling on the side that you attempt the move to. For instance, if the ball is in your left hand then do hop step equivalent move to your left. The defender has to be a certain distance from you and not quite "locked on" D yet. You have to also be a certain distance from the rim when doing it. When attempting it from straight in front of the rim, you have to do it when you are a few feet inside the free throw line. You should be able to do it at will on a 1 on 1 fastbreak or something. I can pretty much tell when I will be able to attempt it and do so. You can only pratice in game against D because it doesnt work in practice mode.

This works for me.

When it says Hold LT + right stick -> it's basically down with the broadcast angle. If you were running on the other side of the key with the defender in the paint you would push it up.

I just dislike how it sometimes results in a shooting foul when clearly no one touched him.
