I don't get it, when it says they declined, it means they don't want to resign and be on the FA list, but when I go to the FA list, they are gone, MELO declined everytime I sim the first year, but he ends up with the Nuggests at the end, is there something I can do that makes him go on the FA and then sign up with my team?

Interesting. He probably wants a long-term deal with Denver, so he declines his one year player option and signs a long-term deal. -

IF you have the CAP room for a max contract. Offer a player option and a No Trade Clause and they always sign with your team.
It's funny because in most of my associations he ends up signing with the Nets, King or Pacers...Chicago Bulls

The problem is, he doesn't even show up on the FA list, I checked he will decline the contract offer from Denver before going into off-season, he basically declined the contract, and then sign a deal with Denver, and never appear on the first day of FA list...and I am using 2k rosters, don't know if that has to do with anything~Comment

Hmmm....
If you really wanted him I know that last year people had a trick to get LBJ, Wade etc. to decline.
You control your team, whatever it is.
With about one or two weeks left in the regular season you Resign your position as GM, then go ahead and sign with the Nuggets.
Once your the Nuggets go to Player Roles and switch Carmelo to 'bench warmer'.
After that you resign and join back to whatever team you are.
This worked last year, and I don't know why it wouldn't work this year, so you should run a test sim and give it a shot.
The only problem is when your resign your position you lose the Reward Points you've earned (or whatever they're called, you know like the 'win 5 games in a row')

LOL thanks for response but want to do it with a non-cheating way haha, just want to sign him with the Raptors because this team is just brutal, theres no one to build around, so signing him in the first year would help for sure, but the thing is, MELO NEVER SHOWS UP AT THE FA LIST, so I can't even negotiate with him, WHILE HE DECLINED TO RESIGN WITH NUGGETS!Comment

He signed with the Nets in my association..... Couldn't even begin to tell you why, especially because the Nuggets made it to the finals in year 1.Comment

Whenever I did that to whoever I was trying to sign they would sign with me.
Have they not signed with you before when they did that?

Honestly guys, I never see him show up on FA list, he resign everytime and I tested for million times, I think it has to do with the roster I use? I just use 2k roster so...please help me get him to the raptors or else this team is done for the next decade lolComment
