    Re: NCAA11 Off-Line Dynasty Progress

Just played a very crazy game against ECU in the 5th game of the year. I was up 7-6 and scored a TD late in the 4th quarter. I decide to go for 2 to put the game out of reach but I fail. ECU walks down field and scores. 1 minute left and I throw an INT to ECU. ECU has the ball on my 20 yard-line with no time outs. I sack their QB for a 10 yard lose but then they complete a pass over the middle of the field. Luckily they can't get to the line fast enough before time expires.

In OT they score on the first play. My QB gets sacked for a 9 yard lose on 3rd and 10 and gets hurt (out for 8 weeks!) My backup comes in and throws a perfect pass to extend the game.

In the 2nd OT I start with the ball and throw a pick on the first play. Then ECU throws a pass that my lineman deflects and my linebacker makes a diving catch.

In the 3rd OT ECU throws a pick and I return it for a TD.

ECU should have won 3 different times but I lucked out and got the win. Now I'm 3-2 and have a good shot at 6 wins.

After losing all hope on this game, I finally found a great pair of sliders and a fun team to play a franchise with in Wisconsin.

We finished the season 12-0, being the only undeafeated team left before the NC. Boise and notre dame were both undeafeated going into the final week of the season, but Notre Dame lost to 7-4 USC and Boise lost to 4-7 Utah State.

We had 3 games this season that couldve easily been losses. We beat Ohio State when they were #1 and we were #2 25-21, we beat unranked Iowa on a last second field goal 34-31, and we beat 5-6 Indiana 25-24.

I'm now going into the National Championship against 12-1 Oklahoma. In other news, we have the 20th ranked recruiting class despite not having any 5 star players.
NFL: New England Patriots, Detroit Lions
      MLB: Detroit Tigers, Chicago Cubs
      NBA: Detroit Pistions
      NHL: Detroit Red Wings
      NCAAF/NCAAB: Michigan Wolveines

Oh yeah I almost forgot.... Going into conference championship week John Clay was the leading candidate for the Heisman. Being in the Big 10, he didn't get to play a game that week. Ryan Broyles, the WR from Oklahoma had 6 receptions for 33 yards in te Big 12 championship game and moved ahead of Clay to win the Heisman....... Basically, John Clay got robbed.

My first season went incredibly well!

Won the C-USA with a 9-3 (8-0) record. Beat ECU in the conference title game to earn a trip to the Liberty Bowl. Took on 8-4 Kentucky, got down early, but fought back and won. An 11-3 (9-0) record netted me the #37 recruiting class in the nation, tops in the C-USA. I was offered jobs at both Arizona State and Texas A&M, as well as a 5 year extension, but turned them all down.

Ohio State, Texas, Virginia Tech, TCU, Utah, and Auburn won the Big 10, Big 12, ACC, Big East, Pac 12, and SEC respectively. Kind of cool to see two of the realigned schools take home their new conference titles!

Virginia Tech beat Texas in the national title game. I'm now moving on to the next season and things are looking up in Dallas!

I just won the National Championship 4 years into my Miami dynasty. My QB ran for 750 yds and 6 TDs and threw for 3500 yds. Had a 1000 yd back and a 100 receptions receiver and a 1000 yd receiver

Started a new dynasty with Buffalo. 1-1 so far with a win vs FCS E and got killed by USC 70-0. Using TheGamingChef </SCRIPT>conference realignment and as for sliders using Verses sliders on the human side and <!-- Begin Fluff Custom Bold -->JohnnyC52's Heisman Sliders on the CPU side. Did my team and playbook (by rolling the dice) see below in my quote. Its like getting a mix bag. As how the games going to come out so far. (I am keeping my Nebraska dynasty on the side which I am 35-4 in year 3.) we will see how I my buffalo dynasty going to go.

P.S. Who do you all think got the most realistic sliders? SEC or Playmakers? Them who I heard about the most.

<!-- / icon and title --><!-- message -->Ok, first all of this is coming off http://www.prodeportes.com/bb/randteam/index.php page. Where it pick your team for you. I have picked my new dynasty team with it and my new playbook. It really have shook things up. For some this may be a long boring process but, I may say it has came with some wild team/playbook combos.

First with your new team. It has to be set as very low for the Prestige: If you want to go with a better team then go for it!

What I do is click or refresh the page 10 times. On the tenth team/time, that is your new team.

As for your playbook. You do the same thing but, you get 10 playbooks. meaning doing the same thing as for your new team but, you get 10 different playbooks. Then here is the kicker. Go to a page that pick random numbers from one to ten. then when the number get picked mark that playbook off your list until. you get to one playbook. P.S. If you get a random number of like 5 and already have 5 marked off and 4 isn't go ahead and mark it off. I go by the rule the one that is above the numbered that is already marked out is the closed one.

As for your defense playbook. That is totally up to you!

Have fun with your new team and your new Offense Cord. "playbook"!

              John

P.S. If you get tired of your new playbook after a year or two. To spice things up go though the same process for picking playbook like I typed out above!

Tell me all what you think! If you got any other ideas, please share!!!

What I got through rolling the "dice" was Team: Buffalo, Playbook: TCU

                  Re: NCAA11 Off-Line Dynasty Progress

Just finished probably the craziest NCAA game I've had in a long time.

I'm kicking off the 2011 season with my Southern Methodist Mustangs. We were 11-3 (9-0) last season, C-USA and Liberty Bowl champs, and only graduated eight seniors total. We are more than stacked for another run at the C-USA, and my goal is to try and break into the BCS. I'm using fistofrage's sliders and loving them.

North Texas is a rival of mine, so I schedule them in the non-conference for week 1. My QB, Kyle Padron, is a RS Junior this year. He set a school record for yards last season. He is an all-around beast, and after his progression last year, his OVR is 89. For the C-USA, that's Peyton Manning-esque. I love having him in the backfield.

Anyway, to the game. It's tight in the beginning, very back and forth with punts and turnovers. Pretty sloppy game - week 1 jitters, I tell myself. In the second quarter I am down 7-3. I have the ball, Padron drops back to pass, and fires a bullet over the middle. Complete. Next thing I know, my backup QB is in the game. I think "That's odd" and keep playing. On the next play, my SMU world collapsed. The bottom scroll line read: "#2 Padron: Broken collarbone. Out for season."

My jaw dropped. My 89 OVR QB was replaced by this 73 OVR career backup in fifth-year senior J.J. McDermott and would be for the whole season. What the hell was I gonna do?

My offense sputtered for a while. McDermott is not a very accurate QB and was being hammered by the North Texas pass rush. I fell behind 10-3 at the start of the 4th quarter. Finally, I buckled down and put in a touchdown to make it 10-10. North Texas then responded with a quick TD of their own. 17-10 and this crowd in Dallas is in shock. With 2:00 left I have my backup QB trying desperately to scramble back against a lowly North Texas team - in the rain, no less. But somehow, someway, McDermott finds the touch, and with 0:45 left I get it in the end zone to tie it at 17.

I kick off to North Texas, and on the first play, my stud DE Taylor Thompson roars into the backfield and strips the QB! I dive on the ball at the 20 yard line as my fans go insane. I go on the field, take a knee, and run the clock down to 0:01. I send my reliable kicker out for a 39 yarder to win it.

                  Off the upright.

There is a stunned silence at Gerald J. Ford Stadium in Dallas as the announcers exclaim, "We are going to overtime!" Worse yet, the Mean Green win the toss, and my offense goes back on the field first. But luckily, McDermott still has the hot hand, and my running game comes alive to get it in the end zone in five plays. 24-17.

North Texas comes out a team possessed. After two plays, they are inside the one yard line. My defense puts up a solid goal-line effort, but it proves futile as a 3rd down play nets them six points. Double overtime, I am thinking. But cryptically, Kirk Herbstreit warns that the kicker has a high-pressure PAT to put through.

Out comes the North Texas team to tie it up. The few fans that made the trip from Denton are going wild in their white and green section. The snap is good, the hold is good... and the kick flies wide. SMU escapes 24-23 in overtime... on a missed extra point.

But my starting QB... my one (realistic) hope for an undefeated season... breaks his collarbone.

                  Now THAT'S college football.

                    Re: NCAA11 Off-Line Dynasty Progress

Before my ps3 got stolen i had a dynasty with Auburn. Went 14-0 year one was poised for another title in year 2 at 8-0 with the game against Bama dead in my sight. I got a new ps3 and decided to start one with Villanova. Used the teambuilder site to make them pretty garbage. I decided to use Oregon's playbook and a 4-3 defense. Mainly because when I play against one of my friends I wanted to get more reps in with the playbook. Simmed year one and went 0-12. Recruited a 2* athlete with 79 spd and 76 acc and 74 thp/tha. He was orginally slated to be a CB but since I moved him to QB he wa sa 65 ovr. I felt he could be a stop gap until I find someone that can really run the offense next season. This year he has been sporadic throwing with 8tds and 5 picks in 8 games..but he averages 80 yds on the ground and my starting HB is a monster averaging 145 ypg and 13 TDs. We beat TCU which I thought would get us in the top 25 but at 8-0 we have a few more big east games then hopefully a break into the BCS Title game :-D. The defense is horrible as a unit, but i have a stud at each level. Recruiting right now i'm looking at 2 QBs, a corner, and some OL and DL.

We need more atmosphere. I was a 2 star program who beat a 16 ranked school and who was are rival in a shootout. They got up to a 17 point lead then we each scored tds. end of 1st it was 24-7. Then I closed the lead to 24-21 by halftime. By 4th quater I was up 38-24. They came back strong with the last 3 mins. Scored a TD and then they got a onside kick. They scored a TD with 50 secs. I got huge pass play to the 5 yard. We both had 2 time outs. I ran the clock down to 3 secs. They tried to ice me with two consecutive timeouts. I kicked the game wining FG. Only one announcer got excited. I got the same celebratrion I get every game. I lost all excitement. I won 41-38 now 9-1 and #25 ranked.

Just played TCU close today but couldn't get it done. My backup QB played admirably most of the way through, but a couple of costly picks really ended it for me. The final was 36-29. I had an onside kick attempt with 1:00 left but didn't get it.

Still think this team can win the C-USA and go back to the Liberty Bowl but my BCS hopes are probably toast at this point.

Started a new dynasty as Boston College, but moved them back to the Big East where they belong. Won early rivalry games with Notre Dame and @Miami. Figured my only difficult league game was @West Virginia so breathed a sigh of relief after a 6 point win. Got ranked as high as #3 and thought I had a shot at the BCS title before a 24-23 loss @Louisville. Then I suffered a 20-point blowout at home against Pitt. On the final day of the season I still had a chance to win the Big East title if Rutgers upset WVU. The Mountaineers scored a TD in the closing moments to win 26-21 and finish with a 6-1 conference record. I beat Miami (OH) in the GMAC Bowl 31-17 and finished #11.

                            Boise won the national title.

Started the 2011 season ranked #19 but must have had a really good week of practice because after being Idle in week 1 I'm now ranked #13. My non-conference slate includes @Miami, ND, @Miami (OH), Army and Penn State.

After 3 years, Arkansas State gets a conference invite to the... Big Ten, and take it. Not sure how this makes sense geographically, but I needed a change-up from the Sun Belt.

The Red Wolves have started out the 2013 campaign with a 4-0, with a huge win over #3 Penn State 32-16. The player of the game was my kicker. He went 6 for 7 with a long 52, and 2 punts downed inside the 20. Still on my schedule are #2 Ohio State, #3 Michigan, and #16 Iowa. At least this year I will get a decent bowl game for once.

Started a dynasty to see how well the CPU could do turning around a bad program with the assistance of the off-season training boost. So I let the CPU recruit and just simulated all the games.

Picked Wash. State as the school.
                                2010: 4-8 (3-6)
                                2011: 7-6 (3-6) - Won Emerald bowl vs. Hawai'i.
2012: 9-4 (7-2) - Magical season, won 9 straight during the middle of the year. Lost Rose bowl to Penn St.
                                2013: 9-4 (6-3) - Won Holiday bowl vs. Colorado.

Coming into 2014 with my highest preseason ranking so far, #29. However, I am starting to really feel the effects of having nothing but 3-star recruits on my team. I only have 5 players over 80 OVR, and they are all fifth year seniors from the default roster. My 2013 recruiting class was the best to date at #71 and I brought in two 4-stars. I know the recruits have a little lower ceiling than the default players in general but this year is gonna be difficult I think.
