    GT5 Seasonal Events

I'm doing the Bonus Races and they give tons of XP and Credits. I've only tried and completed the challenger race. I've been attempting the last one with both my R34 and R35 SpecV. Anyone have any tips on these races?

Yup, guess so... What a difference sports/comfort tires are compared to racing. Gosh, I'm sliding all over the place, I need to get used to these tires.

Comfort are standard road going tires. Sports are for casual racing. Racing are hardcore. It's important to know that the softest of the class below will always be faster than that hardest in the class above for example sport soft is better than racing hard.

Don't they give you a lot of credits just for trying? Maybe not. I did the Mini Cooper challenge I think and I don't remember if I placed but I got a ton

mike, not sure if you have gotten the GTR challenge out of the way yet. You need to use the '09 GTR V-spec. I haven't won it yet, but I only tried twice. I have gotten second with that car and only an air filter. From what other posted on other sites, once you lighten it up, that car is that you need to get the win.

These races are great. Tons of money and xp. I can't even come close to finishing first though! I can get second in every single race but I don't have enough juice to get to the one spot.

The weight and power restrictions are exactly those of a SuperGT GTR. I have not tried it but you should be able to run those because they are exactly that heavy and powerful.

I'm pretty sure that the GT cars are not on the list for cars that you can use, because I noticed that also. I did win that race today with the 09 V-spec. I had to lighten the car, use the height adjustable suspension, carbon driveshaft, torque management, flywheel, clutch, and fully adjustable transmission. I think I put top speed around 160. I would hit the limiter about the time I had to break after the long straight.

I haven't tried it but the bhp and weight restrictions are exactly those of the SuperGT GTRs. Wouldn't be much of a contest of they would be allowed though.

Thanks for the heads up. I have yet to try any of them. Any tips on the quickest and easiest ones to do?

I also noticed the online dealership has a Ford Lightning and a Silverado SS Concept.

I would look at the races. Bonus Races #1 & 2 had restrictions on weight, hp and tires. It puts the onus on good tuning set-ups. But with Ford GT race I just won it was pure speed. Won $1 mil and I think 90,000 xp.

Easy money indeed this time. There are no limits on tires so just get some soft racing tires and drive in the cash. Did the c4 wrc and Elise race today and won both first try with lots of time to spare.
