For defense, I dunno. I always use the Jets, but I usually just ask Madden on defense cause my created team's defense sucks either way.

Best offensive and defensive playbooks?
For offense, I like Arizona. Didn't try it until yesterday, and it is EASILY my favorite. It just has smart passing routes that can get open in any kind of coverage and the running plays are decent as well.

Re: Best offensive and defensive playbooks?
Giants offense (vertical passing, heavy rushing, decent play-action with some screens). Multiple D (because every team playbook either has 3-4 or 4-3 despite NFL teams often having a mix i.e. eagles playing MULTIPLE-D IRL).Comment

Re: Best offensive and defensive playbooks?
Offensively? New England. Hands down.
Lots of great routes, lots of screen plays with some solid runs to balance it all out. If you take the Eagles and give them the patriots play book, you pwn face. Maclin and Jackson have ratings silimar/better than Wes Welker while McCoy is "a better version" of little Danny Woodhead. As you force the other team to respect your short/medium passes and screens, you can hit them deep or take off with Vick.
Defensively? I just use the 3-4 base.Comment

Offense, I use the Steelers playbook or the Packers/Chiefs for the Full House formation.
Defense, I use Ravens, Jets, or Steelers.Comment
