Texas defensive back Aaron Williams declared earlier in the week, as did Missouri QB, Blaine Gabbert.

Missouri Redshirt sophomore defensive end, Aldon Smith is expected to declare within the near future.

    Edit: Smith is gone.

Wow, I didn't expect that. Not really a bad thing unless you're a team in good position to draft him.

With the uncertainty in the NFL about next season it's hard to blame him for staying. I mean Barring a bad injury, I don't think his draft Stock is going to drop and he's only going to get better.

I don't blame him. There may not be NFL next season, gonna get a degree from Stanford and it's not like he is struggling to make ends meet on the financial end(Dad played 10 years in NFL).

I wonder if Luck staying will have any effect on Harbaugh staying at Stanford.

                    Good point.

I think there were a lot of reports that were saying that Luck was leaning towards staying, but nobody honestly believed those reports.

I respect Luck's decision for sure. Pretty ballsy passing up all that money, but more power to him.

I wonder if the potential NFL issues had any effect on Luck staying though.

I can't imagine passing up being a top 5 draft pick though lol.

                          Collective OS reaction: "who?"

Krioniq's explanation: if he came back, he'd be a fifth-year senior on a rebuilding team; now is a good a time as ever for him to even try to make the NFL. He has a bit of a reputation as a pass rusher, which will at least give him a look, but I'm not sure he's anything more than a practice squad player. I'd put him in the 6th round, at best.
