It should be snowing by Monday, I hope everyone gets prepared and we have no power outages. I can't describe how pissed off I will be if I can't watch the game. I'll definitely be going to my dad's and borrowing a generator..

There is a really interesting video of Lache Seastrunk at the BCS Media Day talking about Auburn and his recruitment. That kid really wants to be at Auburn right now. He flat out says it was true that Auburn quit calling/recruiting him late in the process. Don't know what happened there, but I hope the kid does well at Oregon. Super talented running back.

Saw something that said Auburn's team curfew is 1:00am and Oregon's is 10:00pm. I know Auburn is trying to be laid back and not uptight but that just strikes me as a bad idea. Oregon sees this as a business trip and I have no doubt they will show up on Monday night. Auburn, on the other hand, may or may not. In any case Chizik will certainly be outcoached by Kelly so I am going with the Ducks.

Of course he will. Just like Chizik was outcoached by Saban, Petrino, Miles, etc.

I'd say I wanted to know where you heard that from, but it wouldn't make any difference.. it's still bs. You're sadly mistaken if you don't think Auburn is taking this any less serious then Oregon is.

I'm still hoping we don't lose power. If there's a massive power outage because of a few inches of snow, this state will explode.

Yesterday I was listening to the Jim Rome show and he had an analyst on who's been there this week and even he commented on the different approaches the two teams are taking. He said Oregon is ALL business this week with closed practices, not letting their players go do stuff, early bedtimes, etc. while Auburn has been much more laid back, almost treating it like a vacation. That doesn't mean Auburn is taking it less seriously, but the teams are definitely taking different approaches. The guy even said Chip Kelly changed things up after last year in the Rose Bowl he let his guys have a chill week.

Gene Chizik can't coach his way out of a paper bag; take it from someone who watched it firsthand here in Ames. Gus Malzahn is an offensive genius and Cam Newton is the best player in the game. If Chizik loses those two he is nothing. Auburn fans have been blinded by the success to realize that Chizik has nothing to do with it.

Gun to my head, if Auburn loses I don't think it will have anything to do with players going out a week before the game. If they're out until 4:30 on Monday, yeah it will affect the game. Out until 2 on last Tuesday? No.

So he should be judged more by what he did at arguably the worst program in a BCS conference (at least Vandy, Duke, and Northwestern have academics) than what he has done everywhere else?

At Auburn and Texas as DC: Wins 29 games in a row and has #1, #5, and #11 defenses in the country

                                At Iowa State: 5-19

At Auburn: 21-5 and ranked #1

                                Clearly Chizik is the problem...
