Re: CES 2011: Sony Announces MLB The Show 2011
Every one of SCEA's goals with the Show '11 addresses the complaints that I had for last year. New way to play the game, difficulty for beginners (playing with my friends, who had never played the game, was tough), RTTS goal system scrapping, better balance for your base RTTS player (so speed guys are feasible)... plus my other quibbles (defense, weather)... that's all I wanted. And they did it in one year.
That's obviously awesome. But the bigger issue is... GET OUT OF MY HEAD SCEA.Comment

Re: CES 2011: Sony Announces MLB The Show 2011
Looks beautiful.
One thing i noticed that i really like, the batter actually steps out of the box, takes his time and resets himself properly between pitches, previously they would just be standing there ready for the next pitch only a second after the catcher had returned the ball to the pitcher, now they actually chill it out, step out, then back in.
p.s. appalling fielding by the Rangers to not catch that deep flyball lolComment

It was there, its just in white now, so the angle of the video camera recording the footage and glare made it difficult to see.Comment

Also if you listen closely you can hear Karros in the background during that Lineup part, and you can almost make out nice baseball like chatter.Ⓥ Boston Red Sox | Miami DolphinsComment
