Some things to keep in mind:

1. I don't use default rosters, I use edited rosters. However for the dynasty users, you will still see a pretty good improvement of how the CPU move around the field.

2. QB ACC for the human is user preference. I can play with it at 5 or 10, however I am a lead passer type of passer. And for the 360 controllers anyway, it is a lot easier to lead pass at 50 then it is at 10 or 5. For those who don't know, the sensitivity level isn't the same for 360 controllers like it is for PS3 controllers.

3. I play on Varsity because for me when editng rosters and sliders one can easily notice the changes on the field on that level.

I edit my own rosters as well and I agree...the roster guy for EA NCAA football needs to either PM us or just quit all together. I get the same reults as you concerning good CPU gameplay. I work with wookie48 getting the rosters just right. Like right now I am watching the rematch of the little cesears bowl between FIU and toledo (cpuvs cpu) and its aweosme to watch the gameplay unfolding as a result of the rosters and sliders I use. Great game thus far as it was in real life. Ty hilton is pretty good. The only thing that irks me is no matter how you edit the rosters...the punt return game is broken. I tried editing blocking for the DB's on the outside and everything. Nothing works.

What the RBA slider at 80 can do for star WRs who have a high special catch rating. Julio Jones gets major air for a one handed catch.

This has been the case for the past 3 years.....tweak the ratings and the game plays better hands downs there is no other way around it

I've been saying that all year since the game released....

But of course you'll get a few stragglers who will say the edits go away after 2-3 years and i just shake my head because obviously the ratings go away after awhile. But the key is simply enjoying the best gameplay you can get even if it's for only 2-3 Dynasty years that is still better than nothing at all.

I've never had a problem with RB's not reading the field properly and QB's not scrambling or taking off because it took me exactly 2 weeks to realize those were going to be year long issues unless the ratings were edited and then adjusted to the sliders. No patches or Tuners will fix those problems

It's a shame we have to do it but like i said over th epast few months EA isn't going to do it for you so might aswell roll up your sleeves and fix some of the issues yourself. There will be guys who will play this game all year and not once see a scrambling QB or a RB behave as if he's Human controlled.

It's been a problem with several EA sports games over the years....their ratings aren't assigned properly by default and the best gameplay IMO has always been after EA's sports games have been modified through additional ratings tweaks

Whether be adjusting the verticals in NBA Live or reducing the verticals of LB's in NCAA Football or Madden. All those games function better after user modifications

Thats only true if you dont overhaul say...lasts years espu 150 frosh. I get about 5 good years out of my dynasty of players tha tprogress and fill out VERY nicely. I edit depth for about all teams so the drop off doesnt happen until way later in the dyansty. Even then with the sliders its still pretty nice.

Carroll to Ty Hilton (CPU ACC @ 20 with the CPU Catching @60 RB ability @ 80) I love this simply because I see sweet animations that seem buried in the game all the time with sliders and my roster overhaul. Great success!

A good page to look at to see how the real world 2010 season stats panned out. If your rosters don't come close to getting these results, then you need to adjust accordingly.

Some key things of note:

You had 3 QBs rush for over a 1,000 yards - Newton, Robinson, Nevadas QB

Denard Robinson was the number one rusher in the nation and he is a QB with 1,702 yards.

Cam Newton had the highest QB rating with 188.2

The sack leader had 15.5 sacks.

INT leader had 9 interceptions.

The highest punt return average was 16.8 yards.

The most punt returned for a TD was 4. But damn near every school returned at least 1 back for a TD this season.

Longest FG was 61 yards. You had 49 kickers this year make a 50 yard or more FG.

In total during the 2010 college season you had 23 QBs rush for over 500 yard.

I've been using Alumni Players from each school and posting videos of them in action. The ratings have done a nice job for the players on the field with my Alumni rosters....Emmitt Smith plays just like Emmitt Smith he gashes you between the tackles that is where most of his yards will come from in a game vs Florida.

Tommy Frazier will run the Option better than any EA default QB in this game...and Deion Sanders will basically shut down his man if you play FSU

But if your not a fan of old school players then my rosters won't be of any use most people. Only a hand few of NCAA gamers will prefer classic teams and players......i'm more of the older crowd that enjoyed the game more when those players where in college.

I'm not into the classic rosters, but I would love to at least try your rosters. They're only on XBox though, right?
