Here is a roster i manually updated for personal use. It is not completely accurate however i feel it is very close. Please post any suggestions or changes that need to be made. Thanks!

I'm what most online people refer to as a noob. Can you direct me to instructions on how to use the zip file?

I'm on Xbox 360, playing Madden 10, and refusing to buy yet another version for a roster update. Did you manually alter the rosters in the game, or are you able to programmatically manipulate the rosters? I'm am a Database guy professionally, maybe I could help.

I can't believe EA does not offer a roster update for old versions online... I would pay 30 bucks for it, easy. I will not buy another madden. I'm sticking with 10.

In order to use the zip file you simply need to right click and extract files using winzip or a similar program. And yes i manually updated these rosters and plan on updating and tweaking them more when i can. Actually since i posted this one i added Jonathan Dwyer to the steelers and John Skelton to the cards. I know there are some flaws such as jersey numbers, exact height/weight etc.. but overall i think i did a fairly good job with what i had to work with. As stated before feel free to note any flaws or post any suggestions so i may improve the file.

when i try to load the file in my game it says the file is corrupt and cant be loaded... do you know why that would happen

Not sure why it would do that. Is it doing it for both of the files ive uploaded? and are u extracting the file using winzip beforehand?

yeh its doing it with both files and im pretty sure im putting it on the usb the right way but correct me if im wrong.... i save a madden 10 roster file onto my usb then i extract your file to my computer then i open usb xtaf gui find my roster then inject yours

Pretty much, But i use Modio instead of xtaf gui so idk if that has anything to do with it. I havent had any one else have problems so idk what to do or say for you but i'll test the file again myself just to be sure.

Anybody have suggestions on how i can improve this file? Ratings? Jersey Numbers? Players that need to be added?
