I know Gates missed almost half the season(6 games I believe) but, he was having a WR type season stats wise and nothing would have made me believe he would have dropped off barring injury.
You can't give a guy credit for projected numbers and ifs.

And on top of that, it's not like Witten didn't have a stellar season individually.
