Adding College Gameday

How hard would it be to add something that almost all College Football fans watch?
I dont know about you guys, but I cant get my Saturday mornings started without turning my TV on to ESPN.
The fans screaming in the background with the stadiums behind them just gives me the chills two hours before the first kick-off.

This years addition of ESPN in NCAAF was mediocre to say the best. Now its year two with this feature and I personally (and a few others) would like to see this feature at its best. Which means adding College Gameday built by The Home Depot

By adding this into the game should include two more analyst to NCAAF, or its not College Gameday:
-Lee Corso (just bring the old fool back)
-Kirk Herbstreit
-Desmond Howard
-Chris Fowler
-Erin Andrews

If im not mistaken, NCAA Basketball 10 had two different commentary crews so i believe it wouldnt be hard for you smart people to add the gameday crew.
Things to include in this pre-game feature should be:
-Key Games and Match-ups (Top 25 Games, upset Alerts, etc)
-Heisman Watch (duh)
-Top 25 polls (AP & BCS)
-Scores, upsets, etc from the Previous week
-Mascot head pick. (What would gameday be without it)
You can have people who dont want to deal with that just press A. and skip through it.

The gameday feature should have its own tab as a matter of fact. "Watch College Gameday"

Love it man. You did a very good job on that post. I have a couple of ESPN things to add. How about bring back the ESPN magazines. I loved those things. I also loved reading the little newspaper in the old meddens haha. Maybe they could do a Internet for NCAA? That would make it feel so much more than a game. Also the score ticker when you pressed puse. With score updates. Loved that one too.

They used to have magazines on last-gen. Pretty much the same thing as Madden's newspapers.

To see a great use of a weekly wrap-up show, I know Gameday is not a wrap-up show, is to look at Choops2k8. They offer a weekly show with Clark Kellogg and Bryant Gumbel in which they break down top games of the week, offer recruiting updates and a look ahead at top games. They also do a selection show at the end of the year before the Maddness and a season preview show at the start of each season. So no one can tell me that this could not be added since that game came out some time around October 2007.

As far as EA goes, I don't know what the ESPN deal allows. I would think they could add a show of some kind. I love Gameday as well and can't get my Saturdays in the fall started without it. A pre-game show or weekly wrap-up show would only add to the depth of a bare bones mode we have now. I don't think this would make NCAA 12 but should be in NCAA 13. If something like this is not in the plans for NCAA 13 then they will really be missing the boat. This is a feature that is long over due.

I agree, Madden has a weekly show and a half-time show as. It can and should be done. I was just guessing on NCAA 13. We have not heard and news on NCAA 12 yet but I just feel like NCAA 12 will be the game where they try to add new things to the dynasty mode but it will take another year to get it right. I think NCAA 12 will be a great improvement over NCAA 11. I just feel like they have yet to find that core gameplay they are looking for. Back in the ps2/xbox days they found that core gameplay sometime around NCAA 04, the third version on the ps2. From that point on they were able to add depth. NCAA 12 will be the third game on the engine the use now so they should have the core gameplay ironed out. I know they have said NCAA 12 would focus on the dynasty mode more but how much focus can they make when the gameplay is still at a state that needs time. The NCAA team should be large enough that they can have people working on both areas. At this point with the series I have a maybe next year attitude. It always seems like they are a year away and I feel this is a feature that is a year away.

This is basically my number 2 or 1 wish for NCAA 12. This feature MAKES college football. Also put in VIRTUAL SIM in the idea category. This feature is even made by EA Sports so i dont understand why not. College Gameday simming the game of the week. WHY NOT???? PLZ ADD VIRTUAL SIM

And for ppl who dont want to go through it, there should be a skip button. I wouldnt skip through it. I dont skip through the crappy pre game presentation they have now

the crowd, school campus, how they will get it realistic to the real college gameday. They would need to get a lot of resources for them to do the background. for example the lsu and unc game in atlanta. they would need to get a picture or virtually make that background plus the fans and picket signs.
