MLS OF for PES 2011 (PS3)

BolivianFire and I have completed an option file for PES 2011 on the PS3 with all 18 MLS & 8 NASL clubs created for the 2011 season in the blank/fake league slots. MLS clubs have full kits and emblems. NASL clubs have full kits, but, due to editing limitations, a generic league emblem (except Montreal, which has its own).

See here for full details and download links:

    - Current/final version of the file: 1.6

    - File is currently compatible with Konami's March 2011 DLC update (Data Pack 7.00).

    Feedback, of course, is welcome.

Thanks for your hard work. Gonna install in a few minutes. Just looking through the files though, I see there are over 40 instances of the Seattle kit. Is that correct? Did something go wrong? Again, I havent installed yet, just browsing the files.

Hmm. Yeah, I didn't notice the Seattle thing. I'll have to look into it.

Ok, I just remembered. BolivianFire put all the extra Seattle kits in as placeholders for future PNGs. So there's no error with the file pack -- just redundancies. Sorry for the confusion or any induced thumb soreness with the extra copying to hard drives.

all good. I was kinda thinking that might be the case. I just copied them anyway. The option file plays great and rosters look great as well, all things considered. Thanks again.

Cheers. Thanks for the heads up on the Seattle kit issue, too. I had totally forgotten about it until you jogged the memory.

Thanks for this update! It's awesome! Hopefully next year, they implement Roster / Data sharing. This copying files over can be hypnotic! haha

                  Aye. Enjoy.

Copying the PNGs is, indeed, a pain, but I doubt you'll ever see Konami deploy a roster sharing device. Too much legal hassle with unlicensed content. It would be nice if, at least, you didn't have to go one-by-one with the copying, but that's more a PS3 issue than a Konami one. Oh well.

If I'm correct, when you release another version with updated rosters moves, if we are satisfied with the jerseys, all we have to do is copy the one SYSTEM data right?

'Edit Data.' You leave the 'System Data' in place, as that regulates stuff like your individualized settings and trophies. You don't want to delete the 'System Data' or try to copy it over, since that will disable trophies.

So, yes, in subsequent updates, you'll only have to copy over the 'edit data' and any new/updated kits we add. When you copy over the kit PNGs, they'll replace the existing ones on your hard drive. The silver lining is that you won't have to copy the 300+ kits again.

I'm assuming you'll have the new CUSA (when they're unveiled), Union, and DC kits in the next update? Also, if we started a ML now, your new edit update shouldn't affect that right?

Sorry, meant the "edit data".... Everything in the zip file is a jersey or emblem except that "one" file.

Hopefully we'll have all the new kits by the beginning of the season. They'll be added as they come in future updates.

If you start a ML now, any future player/roster edits likely wouldn't show up in your ML. You're basically locked in a 'day zero' situation when you start a ML, if that makes any sense.
