I started my season on all-star difficulty but it felt a little too easy so I bumped it up to superstar for the last 4 games. The first 2 were great games that came down to the wire but I ended up losing...I enjoyed those because I felt I had played well but just got beat down the stretch. Now the last 2 games it has felt impossible to stop the CPU on any possession. When they miss they get the offensive rebound. When I block one of their shots it magically bounces towards one of their players. They have made 2 half-court shots on me in 2 games. It has gotten ridiculous. Anyone have any suggestions for me on defense? I have tried on-ball, off-ball, and pretty much everything. Please help!!

I hear you dude, it can be ridiculous! The only thing that I can offer is to never get so mad you lose your focus and start getting ineffective, and treat every possession like it is a game winning opportunity. -

I appreciate the advice but my offense has at least been decent...still putting up 45-50 points a half. It's my defense that has really taken a hit, giving up at least 60 a half. Agreed, I played on all-star and it's a bit too easy, not too much to where I still don't have a lot of fun but a bit too easy, but superstar difficulty is ridiculously hard. I stood no chance against them in any game I played, and I was playing as my Miami Heat. Frustrated me that I couldn't make any passes and they could make some ridiculous passes. I hate it because I was being very careful and focused on each and every pass but I would turn it over at least five times a quarter, and the other team would end up with maybe ten turnovers in the game, total. It was simply too much to overcome.Comment

It's the Consistent slider put that to "0" because if thats at 50 then the CPU will go on unrealistic runs, making any and everything. With that slider at 0 the game feels much more realistic and the CPU still goes on runs but there a lot more realistic, and i play on All-Star with custom slider.Comment

I feel ya, I'll give dropping the consistency down to 0 a try. Usually if I can sense that the CPU is going to just cheat the whole game I'll just restart the game so I don't get ripped off.Comment

I tried dropping the consistency slider to 0 but it seemed like too much with the CPU missing too many open shots. I bumped it up to 30 and it seemed much better. Most people will frown upon this, but I dont care.
Whenever I play on superstar/HOF, whenever the CPU cheats me, I cheat it back. If I keep getting screwed by the computer, I just turn up my 3pt sliders for a play, and cheat my way to three points.
I rarely do this, only when I feel I had been legitimately cheated on either end that directly resulted in CPU points.
It helps offset the cheap CPU play.Comment

i can handle superstar with the cpu steal at 45. but sometimes the cpu will just post up with their PF or C and drain 8 out of 9 shots with a fade away to get back in the game. i have no idea how to stop them when they do thisComment
