This allows your opponent to effectively kill either your FB in the backfield or destroy your QB before he's able to turn the corner. Speeding this animation up would help this greatly.'''

So you wanna fix a handoff, seriously, a handoff. I guess that better then them adding the band to the stands. It's not like there going to run onto the field.
Uh yeah. I do. Because it is actually a big deal and affects gameplay.

So you had rather have the bands in the stands over having a killer of any form of option systems? I guess you also want to have all the correct cheers that the cheerleaders do for each school as well. Seriously who cares about gameplay when we could have bands. It's not like the triple option, spread option or pistol offense plays a major role in college football unlike the bands.
Relax, it's just a video game!

ESPN presentation was really cool. It could be made better by bringing in the "ESPN on ABC" aspect as well. Including a slightly different lead-in, the "Saturday Night Football" theme music http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S5AUi...eature=related (1:05-1:20), as well as the updated ESPN college football theme (the techo-esque one). I know ESPN pulled a fast one on us last year with that one. But the new one should be in the game this year.

In general the hand off animations need to be made faster imo. It takes forever for option and play action plays to develop, because it takes 3 seconds for the QB to fake a hand off, resulting in way too many blown up plays.

I'd like to add to this

Thou shall not make the CPU Defensive lineman gods amongst mortals. Seriously, Defensive lineman have the ability to disregard any and all of their assigned ratings. I've seen D-lineman chase down HB's with 95 spd from behind, with the HB in full stride while the D-lineman was at a standstill. I've seen 71 OVR D-lineman toss around 97 OVR All-Americans like rag dolls play after play. I've seen D-lineman Jump to a referee's shoulder level to make an INT. I've seen D-lineman jump to block a pass before my QB even finished raising his arm to throw. I've seen D-lineman jump the snap, play after play without ever getting a single false start(while i was hard counting). And I've seen D-lineman shed blocks literally at will, doesn't matter who's blocking, once the ball carrier's near there's a 85% chance that D-lineman will break his block. And by "I've seen" i don't mean once or twice, I mean see this kind of thing almost every single game. In particular the DE disregarding their speed rating and man handling much better lineman I see every single game.

Seriously I can't stand the way the D-line behaves in this game, it's been broken for years.

              Wow.

Best one Ive seen so far and it compelled me to log in and comment.

This would be an awesome idea. I dont pick teams like Duke because their stadiums are a joke. Being able to expand it to like a powerhouse school stadium would be awesome.

Also you should be able to sign with Nike or Addidas since they are in the game.

Also hire and fire coaches. Rather then hiring and firing yourself and you having to pick a new team.

Goodness. These guys on the forums are smarter than the devs.

The problem with an AD mode is you are tied to one school since AD's don't move around.

Here is how it should be done:

Since college football is more about the coach then some AD that should be the focus. You as the coach should be building your career and your legacy on the game. The coach is the ones that recruit, teach, make the gameplan, and coach in the games. The AD sets in a both with all the rich boosters. He/she has to worry about all the sports at the school. So with that said here is how to make the coach the focus but still allow for improvments.

Each school should have a budget in which they can spend on upgrades (stadium or a new weight room) at the end of each season. The user is allowed to choose what the want to do. The mode should still be about you as the coach though. You should be allowed to improve your skills by meeting goals. These goals are not the dumb 3 we are given now like "Play in a major Bowl" but goals for the trem of the contract. Goals could include but not limited to things like "Sign a top 20 class", "Coach an All-American", "Win Coach of the year", "Improve team's star rating", and so on. As you meet goals you get points to improve your coach in areas like Offense, Defense, Recruting, Teaching, Motivation. You are offered contracts with your current school and others ased on the number of goals you meet and your success as a coach.

I feel like this would please both sides. College football is about the coach more then the AD. The NFL is more about the GM/Owner then coaches at times. If you don't beleive me then look at what happened this past offseason for college football. Coaches were moving all over the place. When a coach lefts for a new job or got fired it effected the school. Recruits didn't say " Well the AD is still there so I will still go to State U". No they changed their pledge to a school with a established coach in which they knew from them recruting them. When Meyer stepped down at Florida, a few recruits jumped ship because they wanted to play for him. They could have cared less tht Jermey Foley was still there and I don't know if most of the recruits could even tell you who the AD was.

I just feel like we could be given the ability to upgrade schools without having an AD mode. That should be one of the ways the NCAA series is different from Madden. NCAA can be about you the coach and Madden can be about you the GM.

I agree with fixing the zone read option... The QB is always way to slow at pulling the ball and running up field.

Thou shall be Custom Playbooks. It would make playing Dynasty way more funner. You can recruit to your own style. Name it. Set the tempo of the offense. You can use it for Online.
Thou shall be improved Recruiting. Teams will recruit to their playstyle. The ability to edit recruits. Adding Emails like NCAA Basketball, Add Scouts, Player Evaluation. Higher Position Ratings for Recruits(ex. A speed for 1 or 2 star recruits). Boom or Bust recruits. Bad teams getting good recuits vice versa.

Funny you say that: I one time had a MLB jump over a ref to get a pick. When the game did the 180 rotate for the INT, the LBs knees were both bent and ON THE REFS SHOULDERS (white boy with a 4-5 foot vert from a standing still position....come on). I was gonna save the replay, but they dont shows refs in replays so it wouldn't have had the same asburd affect.

Yeah for me there's no 'almost'. It is every game. Now dont get me wrong, the D-Line needs to make plays, just like in real life, but in real life the exception is a great D-Line play... In this game the exception is the D-Line making a normal play.

I'm not sure the hand off on the zone read needs to be much faster. You need time to make the read. I just think the blocking assignments need to be better. Also, the cpu calling more realistic defenses against the spread and not "knowing" you are running would help.

The problem is the CPU only comes out in D personnel to match the down and distance. Go into 5 wide on 1st down and they'll still be in 4 - 3 or nickel.

20 years down the road, the head coach should be gone and a new coach with a new system should be there.
                            ---------------------------
same issue with uniforms and stadiums. Dynasties are fun, but after a while all that changes is the players. College football is much more organic than just new players each year. each school should have stadium tweaks, uniform options etc. as the dynasty progresses. coaching carousel should be a given by now, christ we've been asking for it for 2 years now.

Thou shalt allow a DB to catch a ball thrown directly in their hands

Thou shalt not have a five star recruit from Rhode Island

Thou shalt have recruits sign in state besides just floridans signing for fsu and/or Ohioans signing for OSU

Thou shalt have the odd good player playing for a non bcs school (Ben Roethlisberger went to Miami(oh) and Jason Taylor went to Akron)

These are just a couple of add ons to an already steller list.

I added a new one. Realistic weight gain. After moving a DE to DT in position changes..he should gain 10-15 pounds in the offseason minimum. 2-3 pound gains would get most Strength and Conditioning Coaches fired. Same with LBs to DEs, WRs to TE, HB to FB, etc.

This can go the other way as well with DEs moving to LB, etc.
