...and if Knight start playing full length games instead of MoM, there's really something in there ;-)Comment

Ramone was kind enough to take me on as the anchor on his team.
Not anchor as in steadying force...but anchor as .....draggin' him down to the ocean floor!

Re: OS Roundtable: What Do You Think of The Show's Move to Analog Controls?
Let's touch the MLB11 analog options..
MLB'11 Analog Pitching:
Before or while in game you can select a different set of difficulty, Rookie, Vet, Allstar, HoF & Legend. Now if you still cannot adjust or simply do not like the new controls you can go back and play with MLB10,9,8,7,6, set of controls.
MLB'11 Analog Fielding:
Before or while in game you can select/save a different set of difficulty, Rookie, Vet, Allstar, HoF & Legend. Now if you still cannot adjust or simply do not like the new controls you can go back and play with MLB10,9,8,7,6, set of controls.
MLB'11 Analog Batting:
Before or while in game you can select/save a different set of difficulty, Rookie, Vet, Allstar, HoF & Legend. Now if you still cannot adjust or simply do not like the new controls you can go back and play with MLB10,9,8,7,6, set of controls.
MLB'11 Controller Enable/Disable Options:
You can either select based on your likings. Either 3 of 3 analog, 2 of 3 analog, 1 of 3 analog or go completely 0 of 0 therefore offering you the original facebutton/classic option(s).
Personally I'm all in. I feel SCEA's Rock & Fire mechanic method adapted from MVP NCAA 07 will be a quality improvement. Plus it will add that extra zest for that deeper user control feel. Which will be tweaked accordingly year to year if need be.HITTERSAURUS-REX

I didn't know you can take an extra lead in this game! My players always do it on their own in Manage only Mode.
Ramone's face was priceless though.
Sort of like..."I know firemen are idiots, but c'mon!"

If you would rather have the PS3 do the hitting/pitching for you, then I understand the argument (or 'tentativeness') against analog. Why would anybody see anything wrong with taking some of the variables of baseball out of the hands of the invisible hand of the playstation and into the hands of the user? If your argument is because you're not used to it, then that's a valid point considering it's a NEW feature.
Analog looks to improve upon the biggest fault of sports games: the lack of control the user has on the mechanics of the players on the field. If you don't have good coordination, then there's nothing wrong with going back to the X button, but does that really justify criticism of analog implementation???Comment
