I've never seen the big thing about the soundtrack listings. Developers should just make sure they include an option to upload your own music to a game. I understand a need for 2 or 3 songs to be put onto a title for things like loading videos but I can see no justification on the money developers spend on putting so many tracks on a disc. If it happens to be your music then it's fine but otherwise you just end up replacing the songs with your own or, as I do, turning down the volume.
Fight Night could do with far more time & effort spent on the commentary & in game sounds & alot less worrying about tracklists.

One song just HAS to be here: "When We Were Kings" by Fugees.

That one track can fit the entire soundtrack.

Can't stand that type of music. I hate rap with every fiber of my soul. I would like to hear more rock tracks. I know I'm in the minority so it ain't gonna happen. I'll just turn down the music levels when I get the retail game.

Needs more classic rock. Throw 'Thunderstruck' or 'Bawitaba' or 'Welcome to the Jungle' in there!

I prefer 'menu' music lol. Like NFL 2k5 where you had espn's tracks. The problem with real songs is that they get extremely annoying, you OD on them, AND people have such varying tastes in music that I think the soundtrack would rarely please anyone.

I love that Aloe Blacc song, but I don't want to hear it in the game really (unless maybe my boxer uses it as an entrance) ...but in menu's I want 'menu' music.

Imagine if CoD had a bunch of metal playing while you were in menus or waiting to join an online game - that would suck!

another thing is it's weird to associate floyd patterson, rocky marciano with OG rap and other new music.

Friday night Fights and other ESPN boxing music is actually pretty fun - they should use that and make it more 'sports-centric'.

I've never been a fan of 'licensed music' in games - ever. I can't even think of one game where I enjoyed it. All-pro's was ok, but again I'd just rather sports menu music.

                am I alone here?
