Heres the stats from my last regular season game Vs. The Rams.

Steelers 41 - St. Louis 9

offence : 437 steelers, 238 St louis

passing: Roesthlisberger, 13/20 241 yards 3 TD
Bradford, 16/27 183 yards 1 int

Rushing: steelers, 200 yards - was stopped for whole 1st half then massive holes opened up
St louis, 63 yards

Defense: Steelers, 2 sacks, 1 int, 2 forced fumbles
St louis, 1 sack

couple of things i noticed playing 4 games on these sliders so far:

its a bit too easy for me to pass, could you recommend some changes (possibly to cpu reaction or something?)

i changed the things you suggested by lowering int and upping pass rush, but my outside rushers ( harrison, woodley) are still getting thrown down on 90 percent of plays even by running backs.

i still get sacks, but weird ones from like my DT or an end that suddenly gets up and sacks QB - being pittsburgh i like getting sacks with my outside backers like in real life.

I forgot you said your using my lower setting I have in red but the only lower set I have for CPUs passing is the pass rush which I said you can start at 50 and work your way up.. I have all of the CPUs pass defense at 100.

What exact set are you using right now for the CPUs pass defense?

just checked i have ints/ reaction on 100 :\

mostly i find that mike wallace just gets open going deep alot at some point during the game, unless hes against an insane Corner.

and also i have cpu pass rush on 75 at the moment... maybe upping that to 100 wouldn't give me time to get open as much? sorry if these are stupid questions etc. im pretty new to adjusting sliders, have always just taken them at face value before.

Crank the CPUs pass rush up so you can make faster decisions. I have it at 100 but maybe you can crank it up to around 75-80 and see how that works. If its still to easy you need to go full blast like me with 100..

Also where do you have the USERs accuracy? Did you start at 15? Maybe you might be ready to lower it down some. I have mine at 10. Maybe you can go down to like 12 or maybe 10 if you feel like your passing to easy. You have the USER pass block on 0 too right?

Just had an awesome loss vs the chiefs in the divisional round of playoffs, after putting the CPU pass rush up to 85

10 - 9 to the chiefs, tons of turnovers and 3 and outs, all defensive.

best game i have had on these, nice to have a game were it goes down to the wire and not just automatic superbowl or championship game every season.

Thats great.. I know what you mean. Its no fun blasting CPU every game. Love the competition.. Yea with the CPUs pass rush on 50 its was just too much time in the pocket to do what I want.. I had to crank it up to 100..

GREAT sliders! Only thing sI changed was threshold, which I changed to 50, due to too many big plays, and I made the quarter length 12 min. 15 sec. runoff. The stats are more realistic. I adjusted a few other things to suit my game, but your sliders were basically spot on!

I actually lost a game, which is GREAT! I lost in a 28-37 thriller to PHI. I should've won, but I threw 4 picks with Sanchez. I was actually in position to win, but the last INT was a pick 6....

A little high-scoring, but it's only 1 game.

Great.. Glad you liked them.. Yea I try to make it my mission not to let the CPU score too many points.. Love the challenge of trying to stop them. Makes you stay 100% focus all game on trying to get them off the field. Post some stats from some of your games when you get a chance..

Made one small tweak to the USER tackling.. I dropped it down to 50 from 60.. Me and my friends were having a pretty easy time stuffing the run most of the time and it seemed a like couple of people that tried my sliders so far wasn't haven't too much of a struggle with the run from what I saw. The only time the CPU would have a good game running against me is if they slip a long run in. Other then that I'm consistently punishing the run. The new patch really helped the tackling.

If you like the sliders the way you been using them keep them there.. I slid it down just to get a challenge for myself. Find the best balance for you with the USER tackling inbetween 50-75.

My issue is that the cpu comp % is on the low side but i'm concerned raising it will jack up his passing yards and ruin my total yards numbers which have been ok (actually I'd like to lower them a bit, they are on the high side...not bad but I think teams are averaging about 20-30 yards more per game than they should.

My QB acc is 30 and WR catch is 15. I want to raise only one right now (I'll raise the other next time - this way I control it better). I want the QB to dump it down (I'd also like not to have his guys roaming free 20+ yards down field like they are). I want a higher completion rate and less yards. I'm thinking up the Acc to 35, what say ye?

Ive read somewhere that by lowering cpu agression on offense will cause them to throw more short passes, whether its true I cant tell you, but you can try that along with raising cpu acc and see what happens

thanks....Jarrod? You agree? Also your thoughts on this: the cpu AND me both have too many plays imo where a guy catches an 8 yard cross and turns and runs for 10-15 more with no one getting near him. On my D maybe if I get my mlb in better position and make a tackle I can handle this...what about the cpu? Should I raise pass reac or run reac. I'm thinking pass reac doesn't apply once the receiver has become a "RB" after catching the ball. I also don't want to lower his comp % which i'm afraid will happen if I raise my pass reac. Thoughts please....and where the heck are you today???? Your on this board all the time except when I have a questions?????????????????????????

Also I think jarrod told mecpu acc also controls the awareness which at a higher number would cause them to check down more often than just heave it upfield if no one is open right away

You might wanna go with both. 35accuracy and 20catching. The low completion percentage is probably do to the low catching you have it at. I remember when I played with your CPU was dropping alot of passes on top of the QB throwing it all over the place. I think you should raise both up and test it from there.. BTW how has your defensive scheme been coming along?
