thanks....Jarrod? You agree? Also your thoughts on this: the cpu AND me both have too many plays imo where a guy catches an 8 yard cross and turns and runs for 10-15 more with no one getting near him. On my D maybe if I get my mlb in better position and make a tackle I can handle this...what about the cpu? Should I raise pass reac or run reac. I'm thinking pass reac doesn't apply once the receiver has become a "RB" after catching the ball. I also don't want to lower his comp % which i'm afraid will happen if I raise my pass reac. Thoughts please....and where the hell are you today???? Your on this board all the time except when I have a questions?????????????????????????

Haha! Been spending time with the girlfriend. She's been complaining lately. Either I'm working or on Madden. So I took a little break from it today.

Reaction Reaction.. I can't stress enough to people if you want big plays cut down like that.. Turn the CPUs rush reaction up.. But I don't have no trouble stopping the CPU from making big plays with my USER rush reaction on 0.. The USER tackling has a big effect on stopping big plays.. Yea once the WR catches the ball the rush reaction comes into play.

Also I think jarrod told mecpu acc also controls the awareness which at a higher number would cause them to check down more often than just heave it upfield if no one is open right away

Actually I think Fistofrage and Steelcity came with that theory.. I wouldn't know because I have the CPUs accuracy and Catching on full blast at 100 and I get a nice mix from the CPU wit the checkdowns , short passes and going up top once in a while.

Actually I think Fistofrage and Steelcity came with that theory.. I wouldn't know because I have the CPUs accuracy and Catching on full blast at 100 and I get a nice mix from the CPU wit the checkdowns , short passes and going up top once in a while.

i believe fist gets credit for this and trust me it's true. i have cpu acc/catch at 40/25. so far the % is good, the cpu qb spreads the ball around , and uses check downs when needed.

My bad man, its hard to keep track sometimes of who said what with all the great ideas around here. BTW I would like you to try something next time you play and tell me if you can tell if theres anything different

Haha thats cool. Put in coach scheme OT,OG,C all on run block for tendancy. now I dont know that this does anything at all, but I would like to know if you notice anything differant since I think you pay more attention to things when you play than I do

I read somewhere that the tendancy slider only works for the USER team. Where ever you put the tendancy for the team your using it will also affect the CPU team your playing against. I'm not sure how true that is though. Sounds weird but I never messed with the tendancy before. I'll check it out when I get a chance.

I also heard it affects the CPUs drafting too.. For example with the lineman they would be drafting more of a runblocking lineman instead of a pass blocking lineman.

Yeah, I dont know but I dont think it has anything to do with drafting but more how the player acts in game. Also try your receivers on possesion, that I did notice make a differenc in animations.

so ive been checking these out for quite some time and im about to give them a try on slow 12 min 25 sec run off......and the cpu rarely wins against me so im gonna dive right in and go with the highest values..........MY ONLY QUESTION IS WITH THE CPU VALUES AT 100 DOES IT AFFECT THEIR FRANCHISE STATS CAUSING HIGH UNREALISTIC STATS? OR DO THEY LEVEL OUT AT 100

WOW these are on point....this was the 1st game where it was actually difficult for the cpu to get a 3 and out which i failed to do and the 1st game cpu dominated t.o.p on me and this was the 1st time i loss when i actually tried everything possible to win.....THESE SLIDERS ARE GREAT EXCELLENT JOB

NOW I CAN TRUELY ENJOY FRANCHISE MODE

Naw it doesn't effect their franchise stats at all.. I thought it would but I really didn't see a difference with it.. But I have alot of there stuff balanced out on both sides of the ball besides the CPUs run defense so I can't tell anyway. I noticed a better average for the number 2 RBs. There average is usually terrible. Other then that nothing out of the ordinary..

Preciate it man.. Just trying to provide some competition for us hardcore madden players who actually enjoy a challenge from the CPU. Post some stats when you get a chance so I can see how it went..
