Stamina was an issue, but i think the long term stamina is what i'm most worried about. If you throw 150 punches a round you should be gassed by the 5th or 6th round. I'm not sure if that would happen the way its set up now.
    I completely agree guys.

Punch accuracy should of been first adjustment completely.

Adjust punch accuracy and things start to fall in line.
    1. Stamina Decreases faster
    2. Punch connect percentage goes down
    3. Knockouts happen and appear more real (flush shot)
    4. Punch exchanges are shorter because of more missed punches
    5. Punch numbers decrease because of more stamina loss

I don't understand either the route they are going with the tuning. But until we get to play a full 10 rounds we don't know.

Because since accuracy is tied to stamina. As our guys get tired by the 5th to 6th round they might miss a lot more and then you have a snow ball effect where stamina starts decreasing more rapidly towards end of fight. Because of more missed punches.

Yea these boys are out to tune the game properly. So that is why all this consumer feed back is important. The more we get to the devs the better. We just had to e-mail our list of 5 positives, 5 neutrals, and 5 negatives that are coming from our communities.

So they are taking in all the information and listening

Noticeable difference I must say. Many of the guys using pac and trying to swing it out with me are completely done in the 3rd. I'm scraping em in the 3rd. Its great. I have a couple of losses myself though. I like.

Gotta say I like the new tuner set, stamina is affecting the % and punches thrown, at least from what I can tell thus far.

%s have been at 55,50, 55,45, 60,50, 50, 50 for me and about 260-280 punches thrown on average, not bad for a 3 round video game against randoms online.

One thing I do notice now is that there might be an exploit with Tyson v ali. I don't consider myself that great but if you sit just outside of Alis range and lean back, block and then come with straights you can get a knockout most of the time if you are good at countering. Plus Tyson is fast enough to recover with blocks and throw a nice straight in there I dunno maybe it is just a good strategy?

It seems like they have these guys strengths mixed up. I would think that Tyson would be more successful getting inside and going to work but whenever I do that I'm usually touching canvas or getting stunned by Ali. I've found more success staying on the outside and beating Ali to the jab (Which I thought would be an Ali strength)-Refering to Online battles.
EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.

You might be onto somthing, because i have subpar success with Tyson when i fight ali inside.
Also Ali's jab isn't as effective as it could be i believe.

Wholeheartedly agree to the nth degree. If you don't back up Ali's jab with something , I mean just something, it doesn't have any thing to it.

I don't like the 3rd point, punches already do too much damage. I'd actually like to see most of my fights go 10 or 12 rounds.

Had five fights, two knockdowns for me, one for my opponent (3 knockdowns occurred all in the same fight).

My first fight with the three knockdowns, had my opponent throwing a bunch of lead power rights with Ali. He ended up throwing 358 punches, and over 100 power shots. He was slow as molasses in the second and third round, but a lot of that had to do with the fact he was still throwing a lot of power modifiers. When I knocked him down in the final round, exhaustion had a lot to do with it.

The extra stamina loss is there but not to a super high degree.

I really like what they've done with this tuner set. Just that little bit of adjustment to the stamina really forces the spammers to fight more realistically or else.

You will be able to box and drag fights out if you pace yourself and fight a smart fight. Making each punch more powerful is a step in the right direction of forcing everyone to think about defending yourself as much as throwing punches rather than 10 round of non-stop mindless beating on each other with lesser consequences .

I played 5 matches post-tuner set and I like it a lot better. The stamina situation is much improved.

My only real concern after playing the demo is that Ali's power is too high. All his other ratings are fine but he should not have Foremanesque power.

So far I like the game tuner a lot better then I did then when it 1st came out. I still throw too many punches but the game itself seems to flow better. I just got my 1st decision win against Cotto this morning. He's beat me the last 2 fights except for a draw.

Where I'm seeing the difference is in the counter punch and its strength. I'm very fearful of getting countered, so my punches are at an all time low, and I had to discipline myself to throw less than 70 a round. I get caught up in the slugfest.

But I see the reward here. If you counter at the right time, the fight could be over and I really like that.
Being kind, one to another, never disappoints.
