NEW! Massive ps3 Roster Overhaul! Every Player Rerated (Most Accurate Ever)

    UPDATE 02/16/11

Hulkshare is a free internet radio music platform that provides services to artists, blogs, labels, magazines, and other music industry professionals.

I have a new edition of my roster ready for download
    2 files in the zip
pff - everyone rated off 2010 (not updated)
    update0216 - rerated over 2 years

UNMATCHED I have a new roster for everyone. This is the most detailed roster there is, unlike any other roster out there. Everything is based on facts provided by the pro football focus website (i did not make ANY up) I translated all information from the site into the madden roster. 95% of players are rated on this season alone, the other 5% based off of the last two years, and everyone who didnt play this year is rated of last year. I will release two rosters one with everyones ratings based off just last year so u can see how everyone performed. There was alot of superstars who stuggled this year namely CBs HBs and MLBs most of them are the ones who have their ratings changed based on their 2 year performance. Its crazy the difference between certain players that madden over and under values. Sometimes stats lie like for the case in New England where MLB Mayo is rated higher than fellow MLB Spikes, but it was Spikes that outplayed Mayo, but if u look at the stats the NFL provides u would think Mayo is better player because he had more tackles, but all his tackles may have been 5 yards up the field, where Spikes might make his behind the line of scrimmage. I have updated everything from kick returners to kickers and punters. Download them and try them out they are amazing and accurate. So its more than just overalls, i did everything from how they run block, pass catch, finesse move, tackle, man/zone coverage all based on how they really played

Stats alone don't tell the whole story.. In fact, they can be very misleading..

You mentioned kick returners. While you're at it, can you find a way to put Dan Conolly back returning kicks for the Pats?

Re: NEW! Massive ps3 Roster Overhaul! Every Player Rerated (Most Accurate Ever)

Hey there guys i have the rosters ready few things i wanna talk about first

                1. there are 2 rosters in this file the first called pff, that roster is based on just this past year. The second roster I went through and picked out guys that are good or great but had down years, positions like HB MLB and CB were most effected. Injured players were also recalabrated, if they did not play at all this year they received last years rating.
I do have a list of players i recalabrated and how i did that was just to add the two years together. I have also added a few players madden had taken out (ex- ellis hobbs and tanard jackson) only for the updated 0902 roster (not the pff one) I will do more if people know of many people that were good or played a bunch.

                2. How I approiched Awareness. Pretty much i just used what ever the player was rated and tryed to stay with that. The reason being, that way u know how good the player really is, because in EAs roster a good player could have an awareness of 35 but it rated an 80, well if he had proper awareness he might be a 90+ so i think its shady to do that becuase it masks the real overall rating of the player.

3.Depth Charts. I used mostly last years but with tryin to add in players that were injured.

                4. Kick Returners. I gave everyone who returned either punts or kicks in 3+ games a rating 80 being the lowest 85 being average. Anyone rated 79 or down didnt not return kicks, or just in 1 or 2 games.

5.Franchise. I also have a snap count of all players so i am able to imput them into franchise mode so teams get the right personal on the field example being a lot of teams have nickel rushers that only play in nickel and dime packages, or that charles woodsen slides into the slot to cover the 3rd wr, wondering if anyone would be intgerested in that ???

                6. The 2011 Draft CAPs. I thought it would be cool to start creating the new players for the nfl so when the draft happens we can add them to their corect team that day?
                Anyone interested in that?

Im sure everyone will love these rosters as much as i do, they truly do make a difference!!!!!!!!!

well enough of the talk here they are

i cannot add dan conolly as kick returner !
there were 2 tight ends that should be kick returners but i guess u cant have the te position as a kick returner, it is however possible to add them as a punt returner but neither returned punts.
The 2 tightends were SFs Delaine Walker and SEAs Cameron Morrah.....both should be 2nd kick returners on the depth charts.

They look good, they definitely give allot of unheralled players that did great this season some better ratings, but some players, players who have started for years, have horrible ratings, and some backups who played in only a few games this season have great ratings.

It looks as though you only used this season to do the rosters but in reality you should atleast use 3 seasons as a baseline, and as for the rookies or 2nd year players, use the average statistics for their position and this year, it will lower their rating some but also give room to improve.

                    Just my 2 cents.

The rosters aren't bad. However, some players are rated too high and some are too low. You actually have Tony Gonzalez(TE) at a 79. That's way off for him.

I'm a COWBOYS fan and I appreciate the 99 OVR for Jason Witten but that's too high for him as well. There's no way a 20 point difference in Witten & Gonzalez. I do think Witten has become the best TE in football but Gonzalez is still right there too. I think giving Witten a 95-96 OVR would be fair but Gonzalez needs bumped up to at least a 93-94 OVR.

Do you realize the 79 OVR for Gonzalez puts him the 30th overall rated TE in the game? Not even a chance! He's still top 5 material for sure. I think you messed up pretty bad on this one. Maybe you didn't even notice it? It needs to be fixed for sure.

You seem to have put a lot of thought into this roster. You did some nice things but just as the examples above, there needs to be some edits/fixes to make it more realistic.

BTW, you stated this from post #8:

Have you supposedly already done this with the downloadable file? I didn't notice any of the 2011 draft prospects. I assume you're asking if we actually are interested in those players being added now to this roster? If so, I'd love to see them added. Thanks!

Re: NEW! Massive ps3 Roster Overhaul! Every Player Rerated (Most Accurate Ever)

Hey guys thanks for the thoughts

I believe i will start rerating more players based apon the last 2 years but i will not do 3 years i think that players regress or progess too much too quickly. if anyone wants to shout out some players they would like to see if their ratings can change. I cant guarantee their rating will change but i will reevaluate the player. As for rookies that is a little more difficult becuase they dont have any other data to go on and i dont just wanna change the rating with out a system or hard evidence to do so.

Now for the Jason Witten / Tong G Ratings debate as tonybolona referred to, im sorry to tell ya but Tony Gonzalez is no long a elite tightend. he has lost speed and this year he was one of the worst run blocking tightend in the whole league.
On the other hand Jason Witten was by far the best (complete) tight end in the league this year.
I have the info to prove it too.
Jason Witten - 1stOverall rated tightend, 3rd in Pass/Recieving, 5th in Pass Block, and 1st in Runblock
Tony Gonzalez - 45th Overall, 15th in Pass/Recieving, 29th in PassBlock and 58th in Runblock. Now i can see Tong G recovering in the blocking department next year but he will no longer be a force in the passing game, the biggest thing he has left going for him is him hands, he does have some of the best hands ever for a tightend. I doubt u have any other information that would prove this wrong ? I'm guess your elauation of Tong G is purly based apon watching a few games of his on tv, and the standard stats the nfl provides EX- catches, yards, TDs but those stats dont always tell the story. There is no way for you to know Tony G sucked at run blocking this year, not without studing the film and thats what my roster provides.

As for the 2011 draftiees, I wanna wait to see if there is enough interest in my rosters to start these they definitely would add to the game once the draft is held in April.
Same goes for waiting rearranging of players/positions for nickel and dime packages ect. I can do it one of two ways though 1. create a franchise file with 32 teams controlled and i will manualy postion these players and save. For this to work u have to go into the game make the changes then exit out, sim to next game, I do that for all 16 games of the first presaoson week will stick for everytime u play as the team for as long as u dont change the depth chart.
                              2. I can just write it out in a post and everone can do what they please for their own franchise. Possibly quicker.
