I did not purchase Madden this year but was thinking about getting it and doing a franchise to pass the time until another certain game comes out in March. I know all the limitations on Franchise Mode from reading this site, but what is interesting is reading the posts about another sports game on OS under "how's your association going?" There are over 300 pages there filled with analysis of individual players, evaluations of trades people have made, free agents etc. When I read about franchises on this site there does not seem to be the same interest. Is it because you cannot identify with individual NFL players in Madden or do the ratings of players not have much of an impact on the game?
