LOL been down this road before. Search for the thread that was posted when the UFC gave the exclusive licence for another few years. You must not know Dana White hates EA more than he likes money.

09 was the best, but I played the crap out of it, and it's hard to go back to an old game even if it's successor was worse because even still it did have more moves and complexity and more organic mauy thai clinch.

Fight night champion I'm hoping will be my combat sports title for many months, nba2k11 is the overall sports king imo uh-mazing.
Yea AllB, the patch came out several months back. I hated the game with a utter passion before the patch and once it dropped I had EA MMA just released so I did not give it a fair shake.

After playing EA MMA for a while I quickly learned to hate a few things.

First off....The CPU AI is to good at subs on the high level so you must play on lower levels to not get subbed every fight without a chance. So then you are stuck playing at a lower level you can compete with the CPU in the submission department. But makes striking, ground game, and clinch against the CPU to easy.

Next is online.....Online has been ruined by button spammers. It is not even worth playing it online in my opinion.

Online against another stick users and the game is one of the best MMA games out there.

I think FNC is going to really come out as the superior combat game honestly.

How does FNC compare to these games?
I am shocked myself as writing it. But like you said, online button spam ruined EA MMA for me!

If you plan on playing online, then yes. If you plan on just playing offline, then I say no.

But hell for around 10 bucks I would pick it up all day. Whats 10 bucks

You know, my bro picked this game up a couple of weeks ago and I started playing it yesterday. I like it. I didn't like how easily I was beaten people, so I bumped it to Hard. Dear lord, I have last so many matches to submission holds. I like to fight on the ground, but that is the easiest way to lose. In my career, my fighter is fairly high at ground and submission, but I'm tapping to fighters with 30-40 submission. Kinda annoying. I don't think I'm ever gonna win the Strike Force belt.

I make the question here dont want to make another topic.

So my question is EA MMA or UFC 2010?

Dont want to play the demos, because the things i search in this type of games have to play the final version.

EA MMA have some impressive animations, but love the roster and brand of UFC.
which have better better gameplay in general and which have the better and not boring carrer mode??

              Thanks

I have to go w/ MMA.

UFC was the biggest disappointment ever for me as a video game. Broken career mode, lag online was unbearable, frequent KO's w/ everyone having KO power, subs being damn near impossible, ground game broken. I'm pretty sure some got patched, but not nearly good enough. The roster is great and if you can somehow get passed these issues, then I guess it can be a fun game. I put it on my PSP and play it just to be able to play with Shogun, Bones, Silva, etc

MMA, especially, after the patch, is a very good and fun game. Not much depth in career mode at all though. Roster is weak if you're more of a UFC fan and not necessarily an MMA fan. Cage interaction is non existent also.

                EDIT: http://www.operationsports.com/forum...10-ea-mma.html
