I was just wondering what do you think is the difference between All-Conference and All-American/MOP? I don't think I have ever played on All-Conference.

Of course everyone's skill level and playing still will differ, but for me All Conference (at least for now) seems to be the best way to differentiate between Top 25 caliber teams and smaller conference bottom-feeders. On this level I'm able to take BCS conference schools and beat inferior opponents rather easily, for the most part. It's also pretty hard, but not impossible, to take a mid-major or small conference school and pull off the big upset.......especially on the road. Normally I can take a weaker team and play with one of the big boys for a while, but as the game wears on, the depth, skilll, and momentum are usually too much for me to overcome in the end.

Based on my past experiences with sliders and All American & MOP levels (especially MOP), the games sometimes felt scripted and it wasn't always easy to distinguish the star players from the role players. On All Conference (and with the help of some custom playbooks), the star players seemingly stand out more and they definitely show up more often than not in the boxscores. Guys like Fredette of BYU, Turner from Ohio State, & Wall from Kentucky play more like their real-life counterparts on All Conference. Keep in mind, I've been using my own updated 09-10 rosters from a base set I got from here last season.

I'm going to give these a go. I've been playing with 500bloc's sliders on all american and have getting blown out against teams with a similar overall rating. Obviously others have had success with those sliders, so my skill level is just not sufficient yet.

Everyone plays differently so finding a perfect slider set is nearly impossible in my opinion. I was have similar problems with a coulpe of slider sets that most people loved, which is why I started working on my own and dropped down a level. I've noticed in the past few years that my gaming skills just aren't what they used to be. These are probably best described as "old man/dad/husband" sliders for those that don't have the reaction time they used to and/or have jobs and families and can't play games as much as they once did, or just don't have the skill level yet that's necessary to play on higher levels. LOL

Anyone given these a try or tried them on All American? I haven't played for a while, but hope to this weekend. Any thoughts, ideas, or suggestions that might make them better? As I stated before, All Conference seemed to be working better for me, but I really haven't gotten in a lot of testing time with this last set. I might eventually give these a try on All American after some more testing and tinkering, but for now I'm sticking with All Conference.

I thought these sliders were great. It is my first time playing College hoops and i've had some great games!! The only thing i can't figure out is how to balance out the freethrow attempts. I seem to shoot 15-20 more freethrows than the CPU. Any help would be great.

these seem good but its like the opposing team (ive had ****ty teams like 67-68 ovr) shoot lights out. its ridiculous! what can help?

Anyone still using these sliders? I've tweaked them some since I posted them on here. I'm just curious what level you guys decided on and your overall impressions. I took a break from the game for a few months, only playing a game here and there, but picked it back up a few days ago. For some reason my sliders don't feel the same to me as they did when I was playing before. There are definitely things I like about them, but I'm having trouble finding a good tweak for a few of the things that I don't like. I've played around with them the past few days and have made some changes, which I will try to note on here soon. I just haven't had much time to test them out thoroughly. If you guys have any input or suggestions from the set I uploaded and put on here, please let me know. I'm still looking for the right mix and I'm open to your thoughts and opinions.

The best sliders so far..and the cpu don't cheat to win..no wonder reverse layups or sonic speed passing through the whole team..

I made one adjustment and the was game speed / player speed 60/30

Thanks for your feedback. Sorry I have kept this updated. I've not been playing a lot of PS3 lately, but hope to get another legacy going soon with the sliders I decided on. Stay tuned guys.

Just bought the game for PS3 and used the sliders they're good but my team UNCG is horrible. Currently 0-5 in my legacy

That's the thing I enjoyed most about using these sliders. I ran a dynasty last year and took Idaho State to Fog Allen and lost by 35 points to Kansas, and it felt right. I kept the game close for the first 10 minutes, but they took control and dominated me after that. I believe I was down 20 at halftime and never got any closer. I then took the same Idaho State team and knocked off Arizona State in overtime, before losing my next 4 games. I finished my first season with something like 8 or 9 wins, but it was fun because I wasn't expecting a 20 win season with Idaho State.
