Most pitches you've thrown/faced in an at-bat.

For me, the most I've thrown in an at-bat is 14. The most I've faced is 12.

Also, what was the outcome? For the ones I threw, I struck the guy out. For the ones I faced, I got walked.

i don't recall the exact count but it was easily a tenplus at bat
i was Ichiro & i fouled every pitch off
on an oh&two count i eventually singled
i cannot remember ever bein' so satisified by a meaningless single
i was bein' shut out in teh eight inning by cliff lee
but i was able to plate ichiro & only lose someting like 7-1,lol

I threw 17 in an at-bat before.

Eckstein is a tough out in MLB 08 The Show...

I remember making this same thread last year

My total pitches I've seen while batting was 23 I believe or 21 with Melky Cabrerra vs Becket, he ended up getting a fly out but man I was feeling great after the 12th foul ball in a row 8D

Total pitches thrown was about...14-15 and usually it's a Home Run or a Strike out :/

I remember a couple years ago ( I think ) they added the "foul tendency" slider which excited a bunch of us.

There's nothing more rewarding (as a batter) than to consistently foul off pitch-after-pitch-after-pitch-after-pitch and either grab a hit or walk....it's soooo satisfying!

On the other side of things, when pitching, it's extremely *frustrating* to have the opposition foul pitch-after-pitch-after-pitch-after-pitch....lol
(I've actually caught myself doing a literal *fistpump* after a long winded out) LOVE IT!

----and things like THIS are why I love this game so much year-after-year!!!

i was at a high school game last year and the guy batting on the other team had a 20 pitch at bat

Just gave me a thought - maybe the Show should also have a Create a Team and Create a Stadium options next year so you can create like high school and college teams, let alone independent minor league teams and iinternational teams.

Just gave me a thought - maybe the Show should also have a Create a Team and Create a Stadium options next year so you can create like high school and college teams, let alone independent minor league teams and iinternational teams.

Do you think all of that will fit into the required space of the game? :/

Not in the show but last year I went to see the Astros vs the Reds. Oswalt, of all people, generated a 22 pitch at bat before finally hitting a single. Pretty impressive for a pitcher.

I think the most I've done is about 8-9! Can't remember if I gone Any higher than that.

Pitching, easily 11 or 12 ... probably 14 or 15.

Batting, I want to say 11 or 12.
