    Dont Call It A Comeback....

Who is more likely to have a productive career after rehab?

    Brandon Roy

    Yao Ming

    Michael Redd

    Greg Oden

I personally think they are ALL finished.

Who is the next McGrady/Grant Hill "scenario"?

I can see B. Roy still having a productive career and I see Oden as a Perkins type for a contending team.

I'm going with youth and voted Greg Oden. We have seen a few young big's(ala STAT's) come back from knee problems.

        2nd would be Brandon Roy.

Sad 50% of the names on this list are Blazers. That's just a snake bitten franchise.

I mean if I just HAD to pick it'd be Oden. By productive I mean a rotation player. None of these guys will ever live up to the expectations.

              I picked Yao.

I dunno...the way I heard Roy's prognosis...sounded like career over sooner than later.

Oden seems like something may be seriously wrong with him...like his body/bones are older than his age (I think there's a medical term for this).

              Redd...he's up in age.

Oden, I have a feeling a majority of his injury problems may now be behind him. I don't think he'll be the star he was once supposed to be, but a solid player somewhere and maybe sneak in an all star or 2 in his career due to being a center.

Yao's done pretty much, Roy might be productive but it's only gonna go downhill from here sadly. Redd I could see being a good role player.

I'm with you, I think there all done. Roy probably will have the most sucess out of those guys in the future but I don't think his career is going to be very long lived.

Don't think it's safe to put T-Mac in the Hill category yet until he gives us a couple seasons.

As far as the poll, tough one. I want to go with Yao but I'm going with Roy despite all those surgeries. Although I believe the Blazers should have put him on the shelf for the rest of this season.

Too bad the Bulls didn't jump on T Mac when they had the chance.....

Don't remind me man. Instead we're stuck with the dreadful Keith Bogans. They should have gambled on T-Mac and if it went sour cut their ties. Oh well...

Roy and Yao's problems aren't really fixable. They're never going to really get healthy. Roy still might be a safe pick, because even with his injury he might be able to produce a bit, just not at his previous level.

Redd just stinks at this point, healthy or not.

So I take Oden. Oden's injuries, while numerous, have been freak, unrelated injuries that he should be able to recover from without serious lasting consequences. And when he has played, he's been really good.

Roy with a real solid game last night in about 24 minutes including a game tying 3 at the end of regulation.... i took Roy, i think he is crafty enough and a good enough jump shooter where he can play without a lot of stress on his knees... he'll never be that superstar that he looked like he was becoming, but i think he can be a 3rd scorer on a contender

I say Brandon Roy, Yao Ming and Oden deal with season ending injuries every year. Oden may be young, but it seems like every season now we're saying "Man, is Oden gonna put Portland on the same tier as the Mavs, Spurs, Thunder, etc.." but 3 months later he is out for the season. On the other hand, Yao's best days are probaly behind him. At 30 years old he's had severe foot injuries for the past 2 seasons. He evn threatened to retire if things didn't get better. Michael Redd is just too old. He may be able to provide some 3 point shooting for a contender but a comeback qould be a stretch. That leaves us with Roy, someone who has proven he can be a star in the league and is just 26 years old
