I hope it pays well. Your life would be nothing more than watching baseball games for 7 straight months. I'd love to know if the person who gets this job actually makes it through the season. I honestly can't see anyone doing it.

The concept is not a bad one but the actual terms of the job are ridiculous. Everygame plus blogging and other commentary in a remote location, which will probably be on the east coast which would mean watching games until 1-2 in the morning. A 7 month commitment would mean having to quit your job (and hope you can find another one after) and you had better have a very understanding spouse or significant other. As much as i love Baseball something like this could make me hate it a bit.

It would be different if they did as chrisksaint said and maybe had different people follow different teams but the way it is now i can't see anybody (with a life) really being up for the task.

I would honestly love to do this, just not on the east coast. 1) I'd rather work 10:00am - 10:00pm. 2) I just wouldn't live in New York, I'd rather live at home.

Something tells me you would be paid very handsomely for this experience though. I couldn't see it as a career, but in a way we already do this every day so I think I would like to try it for a year if it was in California.

Sounds awesome. I'll definitely apply. How's it possible to watch EVERY single game, though? Unless it's every game of a specific team. And I haven't written any specific baseball-related articles or blogs, so I don't know.

It says that you have to observe every game, so I assume you don't have to watch each game from beginning to end. Also, if you are able to vlog each day(instead of writing) then you might be able to just touch on the smaller, less exciting games and spend most of the video talking about the marquee matchup of the day.
