    Madden 12 Load Screens

Via @fillycheze ...Today's development debate involved a battle over what content to include on our load screens. It was very emotional.

What would you like to see on the Madden 12 load screens?
    Because I can!

ARods title belt thingy is the worst thing I have ever seen a qb do.

        Re: Madden 12 Load Screens

I want to see less static images all across the board. As much as I play Madden, the menus are so incredibly dull and generic that it doesn't feel like the "official" NFL game, but rather a pick up and play game meant for college buddies. A more professional, Sportscenter or NFLN style menu layout would be great for the games image. It would allow kids to feel like this is the "real deal", as well as adults to respect the game on a different level.

As far as load screens specifically, maybe they could have a pre-game style thing ala 2K5 where it plays a video of either Collinsworth, Gus, or maybe even Rich Eisen if they could get his name on it delivering a pre-game rundown. For play now, it would likely be standard lines but in franchise it could show injuries and things of that nature. Just a thought.

How about showing starting lineup for both teams then use the helmet logo crash when its loaded.

Really, you missed have missed the days of McMahan and Favre.

It's all in fun and subjective. First person I've heard complain about it.

Desean Jackson's TD celebration, that was penalized incorrectly, versus the Cowboys in Dallas, or Arlington.

To be honest, I just want an option to turn off the loading screens and make the game boot straight into the menu. I've never been a fan of Maddens loading screens or menus, so the less time I'm able to spend in watching and navigating through them the better.

Doesn't pressing the A button capture what you are looking?

I think he meant when you first turn the game on. I don't need to watch the intro video, then press start, then hit a button to skip "going up top"... just get me to the menu.

                          You can't be serious.

Technicalities aside, simple common sense should tell you that Jackson's backwards fall into the ez was as clear an example of unsportsmanlike conduct as you will ever see. There is absolutely no chance that the NFL would allow an act like that to be glorified in an officially licensed game.

Besides, who wants to be forced to look at some runt of an Eagle every time the game loads?

I know exactly what he meant.

                            This comes up every year.

I watch the intro the first few times and then from then on I hit the start button. What's so difficult about hitting start a few times to get to the main menu?

It's just a few button presses.

To each their own, to me, it's no biggie because after the first few times, I'm not watching the intro after hitting the start button a few times.

                              Key Matchups

With commentary and photos of the key players going at it in the game, sort of like NBA 2k11 ..

Could add stats and team record, weather. stadium, team logos etc.

.. or just try to emulate how and NFL game comes on after a commercial
