Update: 360 version.

Just want to say this real quick.

I played a game at SF with the Rangers same as the demo. The jaggies are still there so the demo is probably wasn't that far from the retail.

With that being said, IMO the game is still very nicely done. I'm getting ready to fire up a game with the Yanks and Phills.

I will sim and entire season before than and post the results as best I can.

52,104 & 162 are the options for season length.
You can edit the cpu rosters, force trades, let the cpu trade and there's a slider for injury frequency in the front end of franchise mode.

Please do not PM me with were I got the game or any other crazy questions.

Finished product is very, very well done. I love the expressive reactions the put on the players and bullpens.

Hit a 3 run homer with Cano and Lannan (Clev) was going nuts on the mound.

I adjusted my tv settings and the game really, really looks good. Player faces are great. Some are still off, but for the most part they're good for me.

Loving the game right now.

There's a slider for arm strength for fielders and outfields. I like that.

The commentary is so good it's scary. I feel like I'm real game.

I forgot to mention. The homer I hit with Cano, you'll feel it when you hit it. I love that feeling.

Just chased Lanna off after only 2.2. Gave up 6 hits 5 runs and 3 walks. Great feeling.

Night games don't start with black skies. Not sure if that was in last years game.

I'm still seeing a little hitch/lag on pop ups. Same from the demo it looks like. Maybe that's included in the day 1 patch.

Dodger stadium is stunning at night.

Player models look great. Fielder is huge, but not as big as CC.

The close play toggle on/off doesn't seem to be working. I turned close play cam off and it still slows down when steal attempts happen.

They finally put in a cage for batting practice. Like you'd see before the games. Finally!

I can't find a way to hit against someone other than the best pitcher on that team though. Maybe I missed something.

I took out Zimmerman to put in Strasburg and you could see Zim was pissed he was coming out. Granted it was the first inning... I can see why he was upset. The reason I did that is because I wanted to see if the players will get upset at different times. Good stuff so far.

Brought in Stras cold he threw a 4 pitch walk to start out his day. Warm up your pitchers... His 12-6 curve is nasty!!!

I just hit one with Votto off the ivy in and Fukudome missed played it. Ball almost bounced back to 1st base.

I've seen A LOT of fouled off pitches by me and the cpu.

Dynamic lighting is done really nice this year. Not overly done, but done enough to show the effect each inning. The shadows will cover the batter box, but not the mound making it difficult to track the ball.

Just hit what I thought was a base hit to center with Heyward only to have Torres run up and ball warped into his glove. Cost me 2 runs as it was 2 out with men on 2nd and 3rd. First issue!

Ok guys, I'm done for the evening. I'll be back tomorrow with more impressions.

I'll say this so far. I'm really enjoying the game. 2k made a solid product this year and IMO, they're really trying to get their name back in the baseball market. Hopefully the continue to improve on what they have so far. I'm impressed and I don't get impressed that easy.

I'm going to play a full game now and I'll post the stats after the game is over.

Xbox live update today. 2mb, might be the first day patch.

I've never seen the hr catch glitch so I have no idea if that's it.

MLB Today is still not working because 2k servers are still down.

Jaggy player shadows are still there. I think I said this yesterday, but it seems the demo was fairly close the final build. If you didn't like the demo you'll probably not like the final product.

Me, I'm really liking it so far. Haven't gotten that bored feeling as every game has been a fun experience.

This game won't be mistaken for the real thing on TV, but if you close your eyes and listen to the commentary you'll swear you're listening to a live broadcast. The stadium sound, crowd chants, boos and cheers all sound great.

The crack of the bat when you hit a solid shot is great. Not sure what they did here to make it different, but they did.

Player models are a lot better this year.

I haven't seen any of the over aggressive cpu hitters. They will make you throw strikes. The will swing at some stuff of the plate

I'm not sure if they have the correct broadcast cams like they said. I'm playing at Minute Maid and the broadcast cam looks like the Yanks cam. Isn't it supposed to higher and more above the pitcher? Just a thought.

I'm going to play a little more and report back.
