    2011 Big 10 Tournament

Should be a fun tournament. Last year with 11 teams as Nebraska joins next year.

That Michigan/Illinois game is gonna be a big one. The winner of that with a chance to face Ohio State could be huge for the resume should they upset the Buckeyes.

I know most say MSU is in but if they were to lose to Iowa, I feel they'd be in major jeopardy of missing the tournament.

    Re: 2011 Big 10 Tournament

    Im pulling for Northwestern.

But at the same time Im hoping MSU finally wakes up because this is just sad to watch.

Although we re probably in, we don't deserve to be. Somebody else would probably rep the big ten better.

State isn't even close to being in and will be NIT bound when Iowa waxes them.

The way I see it, they beat Iowa they are in, they lose they are out.

We'll see if Tom can light a fire under their butts.

Why is Thornton playing? I am pretty sure I could beat him in a game of 1 on 1. He couldn't get playing time for any D2 school in the state, yet he yucks it up on the court for MSU and continues to get minutes in crucial times of crucial games.

I swear Izzo has bumped his head. He runs a flex offense against a zone. Its never going to create a mismatch against the zone. OK, isn't that the definition of insanity, continually doing the same thing and expecting different results.

Feed the Post IZZO! and Bench Thornton and play your Blue Chip bigs.

I think Purdue will win this.

I can see Wisconsin losing to Penn State in the second round should PSU beat Indiana.

LOL... I'm with you. I was losing it watching Thornton the other day. Kebler has grown on me a bit, but I can't believe these walk-ons are playing more than Payne, Nix, or even Sherman. We're fine at guard with just Lucas, Appling, Summers, and Kebler. Green can play two if he has to, although I'd prefer he was in the paint. But, Thornton...

Funny thing about Thornton, I played against him in high school. Couldn't believe it when I heard he got a preferred walk-on to MSU.

Did Thornton dribble the ball off his feet in high School, clang wide open layups off the BOTTOM of the rim, miss wide open shot after wide open shot? He's a human turnover, you don't even need to guard him.

And I wonder why Izzo gave Green a Reggie Miller hi-light tape and told him to learn it and live it this year.

If I didn't know any better, I would swear that Tom Izzo was kidnapped and what we are seeing is Rich Rodriguez in an Izzo mask on the Spartans sideline.

Michigan needs to knock of Illinois on Friday to be comfortably in.
It's hard to pick against OSU with the way they have played all year but it wouldn't surprise me to see Purdue or Wisconsin win it.
